Jackets 4 Bikes ZW_R_1967

Quality Warm Motorcycle Gloves for Cold Weather

This model from Jackets 4 Bikes is made from genuine leather, a material of superb quality and high durability; these gloves will serve you for years if appropriately cared for. The cool thing about them is that they feature a lining with Thinsulate, a special synthetic fiber insulation that is thin enough to not make the glove big and ugly yet is good enough at what it is supposed to do (insulate) to be a desirable addition to your handwear in winter; hence, the name Thinsulate. Riding in cold conditions at high speed, your hands are the most vulnerable part of your body without proper protection and this model can take care of that.

The durability is further enhanced with the double stitching. The band is a little tight; it is made to ensure your hands stay warm when you are riding but keep track so that it does not get too tight—you do need the blood in those fingers to keep your hold on the grips. At the same time, the band is elastic so it will get a little looser as you wear the gloves. The velcro strap will help you adjust the gloves on your hands with utmost comfort.

Finally, for enhanced protection from both cold wind and injuries, the padding on the knuckles is also leather. These motorcycle gloves are perfectly fitting, comfortable, and will save your palms in winter.

FREETOO FBA_TP40210462-F

For More Than Riding

Microfiber is a soft and thin material that is, nonetheless, durable enough to be used in heavy-duty tactical and motorcycle gloves. This model is made to be used in summer, mostly. It can withstand some not-too-severe winter but generally, it is more the mild climate-oriented item. The materials used for manufacturing, as we've said, include microfiber, specifically, on the fingers, since when you hold the grips and control the bike the fingers move and less durable material would wear out rather soon. Besides that, there is spandex to make tugging the gloves on and off effortless. The PU-leather on the palms themselves reinforces the glove and serves as an anti-skid protection, making your grip tighter and more confident.

Since these are summer gloves, they are appropriately made for hot weather. That is, the knuckles have vents so that your palms sweat less. It's not too much but it's the best you'll probably get in an extreme sports model without compromising the safety in case of an accident. Besides, the gloves are made of more or less breathable materials anyway.

These motorcycle gloves fit snugly and comfortably, and they are good for more than just riding your bike—you can use them when you go hiking, shooting, hunting, or simply do some manual work that requires palm protection. There are half-finger and full-finger options, and the model is also offered in three color options: black, tan, and army green.

Raider BCS-2660-L

Let It Rain

These are waterproof motorcycle gloves excellent for those often traveling in areas with a lot of rains. They are also full-leather and insulated, making them a good choice for winter. However, we would say that too severe a cold might be a bit of a struggle, we'd recommend this model for riding in milder winter or in autumn/early spring.

The design of the model is that of a full-gauntlet, meaning it will protect not only your fingers and palms but a wrist and a part of your hand as well. This, too, was made with consideration for riding in a cold weather, when wind can get under your jacket's sleeves.

Being full-leather, and genuine leather at that, they will live through the hardships of an everyday rider and will look good even after months of wear, protecting your hands from wind, rain, and snow (though we do recommend being careful riding in the snow) as well as possible palm injuries. The flexibility of genuine leather makes these gloves women's model as well as men's. The selection of sizes adds to that, too.

Raider has made their gloves with a wonderful velcro closure. It is very simple to adjust, enough so that you can re-strap it on the go in a matter of moments, and yet, it does not get weak with time, which is a weak side of many velcro straps.

ILM Alloy Steel 15S-BLACK-XL

Almost as Cool as the Infinity Gauntlet

Now, if you are an extreme rider or sometimes enter competitions that involve the higher-than-average rate of even small accidents you will need the best protection for your hands. These armored ILM motorcycle gloves are just that. They have steel alloy protection pads that will save your joints in case of a collision.

These gloves are really strong, perfect for professional motorbike riding. The U-shaped arch-like protection covers your hands in a way that your hand and knuckles will be unscathed when you get up after a turn taken too fast. At the same time, the palm part is designed to strengthen your grip—its anti-slip surface will enhance your control over your bike, thus lowering the chances of an accident quite significantly since losing control is what leads to crashes in absolute most cases.

According to some customers, the actual size of the gloves is a little smaller than stated so we recommend leaving some margin. But not much since too big gloves will result in a complete turnaround and may become the cause of an accident instead of preventing one. Motorcycle gloves do need to fit snugly, it is better to have them a bit tight than have space between your palm and the glove material.

Blok-IT Motorbikes all seasons

When Riding and All Other Times

Full-leather gloves with Thinsulate lining are a stylish solution to the problem of riding a motorbike in a cold weather. This model looks quite nice, the genuine leather is soft and flexible enough to not impede the fingers movement and worsen your grip on the controls. Thinsulate is thin and comfortable but it does keep the warmth inside the gloves so that your fingers don't become stiff with cold. It is really important since you need your fingers moving freely to properly control the bike and avoid accidents.

The elastic band and velcro strap allow you to adjust the glove on your wrist so that it is tight-fitting without cutting off your blood flow. The knuckles part has padding to dampen the impact if you happen to fall.

Tugging the gloves on for the first time might be a little difficult but since it is genuine leather, it will get more comfortable after a little wear. The model is double-stitched to provide top-notch durability and long life. The comfortable lining makes the gloves fit snugly and it is not too thick, so you can use this model not only in winter but during the warmer seasons as well.

The model is offered in all sizes, from small to XX-large so it will fit just about any person regardless of gender, age, and shape. Moreover, it does not necessarily scream "motorbike gloves" so you can wear them for warmth just like that.

What Are Motorcycle Gloves?

A motorcycle is a special type of vehicle, a dangerous one compared to a car, and any seasoned rider knows how important it is to have the proper apparel and gear. While very few people might argue the necessity of a helmet when you ride a motorbike, the importance of gloves is somewhat missed on many new bikers. Some think there is no need to get them in general, some believe that cheap gloves are just as good and buying special ones is wasting money. Both beliefs are bound to be shattered, and one is lucky if it's a small collision that finally makes them understand the value of good biking gloves.

We are taught from childhood that when we fall we put our hands to catch us so that no harm comes to the head and face. Motorbikes are more complex than regular bikes, of course, and they go way faster, making a possible accident that much more dangerous and the fall that much more painful. The motorbike gloves are stronger than any others and they differ for different bikes, meaning one of the things to take into account is what kind of motorbike rider you are. What roads do you ride? In what weather? What parts of the glove wear faster? There is a variety of questions to ask yourself before making a purchase, yes, but as a result, you will have your hands uninjured!
