What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Nikon COOLPIX P610 Digital Camera
  • Love the size and all it can do.
  • Bought this as a gift for my mother. She absolutely loves it - has used it daily for the past two months, easy to navigate, just the right size.
  • The weight is fairly light for a 60x zoom camera and not to much for my arthritic hands to handle.
  • I chose this camera over the additional cost and weight of a DSLR.
  • A big benefit of this camera is its light weight.
Canon PowerShot SX60 Digital Camera
  • Just the right size. Not too big and not too small. Outstanding zoom.
  • This is a versatile camera in a relatively compact size.
  • We bought this one because of its ease of use, amazing telephoto lens, and compact size.
  • Nice light weight for size has good zoom, Still getting familiar.
  • Camera is light weight and takes great pictures for this type of camera.

What customers say about "Imaging"
Nikon COOLPIX P610 Digital Camera
  • I really like this camera. It has great clarity even and the extended focal lengthes.
  • Unless photography is a major hobby of yours and a focal point of each trip, this camera would be all anyone else needs, and with a little study on photo composition, can produce great images.
  • Absolutely beautiful hi-resolution digital pictures with a minimum of effort. The lens has great optics with no spherical aberration at the extreme zoom.
  • The auto settings work great but the manual settings take noticeably better pictures if you know how to use them—I once took a picture under my bed with a wide aperture and you could see everything as if there was daylight under there.
  • It quickly burns out highlights in images with lots of contrast. Dial in a 1/2 stop underexposure. And don't expect razor sharp images at long focal lengths.
Canon PowerShot SX60 Digital Camera
  • At short focal lengths everything is fine my wife has one of these for general photography and likes it a lot.
  • This especially comes in handy for obtaining more stable shots than with a narrower focal length where every little movement becomes exponentially magnified.
  • Fairly decent at high ISO settings, though not spectacular. For eagles and owls, I get better images at the lowest available f-stop, usually 5.7 to 6.3 depending on zoom.
  • This auto ISO feature in the manual mode, allows one to set aperture and shutter and not worry about exposure because the ISO will adjust automatically.
  • Even using a wide variety of ISO settings the pictures always seem to be quite grainy and not what I expected when I bought this camera.

What customers say about "Display"
Nikon COOLPIX P610 Digital Camera
  • The ability to take pictures at odd angles because of the versatile lcd screen is wonderful.
  • Really impressive at the higher end of the zoom in that screen seems fuzzy your hand is trying to be steady and then pressing 1/2 way down on shutter button it "locks" in to the target and you usually get a really impressive picture.
  • There were two important things that I was looking for in a camera. The first one is that I knew that I wanted a view finder since I am blind in one eye and while looking at an LCD screen sometimes I cannot make out the picture.
  • Fully adjustable screen, electronic view finder, ridiculous clarity at full zoom
  • Before that, the LCD screen worked on and off from about 9 months to 11 months, but that did not matter too much since I was using the viewfinder and image stabilization.
Canon PowerShot SX60 Digital Camera
  • High resolution, great zoom, easy to use, sharp photos.
  • Resolution, light sensitivity and mega zoom are great features! It is also easy to use.
  • Easy to use, easily changes from display to viewfinder
  • Recommend, especially like the flexible viewfinder and the macro feature. Easy to follow movement with the auto-focus.
  • The most favorite and useful for me in this camera is its Vari-angle LCD so I can take the pictures and videos in any angle.
  • The viewfinder is very small. The screen is nice though.

What customers say about "Features"
Nikon COOLPIX P610 Digital Camera
  • Operation of the camera can be very simple in full auto mode, and very complicated to the amateur in manual modes.
  • The modes where you can take pictures of the clouds moving or people moving on a city street are WAY cool and easy to do.
  • The photos are superb, I really enjoy playing with all the different modes, and WOW at the zoom!
  • If you are in macro mode taking pictures, the focus doesn't always want to work at all. If you get really close (like right up on it) it will focus, but then your lens is totally obstructing the object so it has no lighting.
  • Don't like the delay at the start of movie mode.
Canon PowerShot SX60 Digital Camera
  • Shoots video as well as photos with true colors and both manual and auto shooting modes.
  • The continuous shooting mode is super fast and I get great action shots.
  • Some of the best pictures I’ve ever taken! The creative shot is one of my favorite modes to shoot in, I also love the zoom!
  • The different light options are good, though I still got myself a white balance card so I could get the most accurate shots.
  • They took things away: some "creative" modes, panorama stitching.
  • Shutter speed is a bit slow compared to a Digital SLR but it is a good bridge camera.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Nikon COOLPIX P610 Digital Camera
  • One of the other nice features of this camera is the built in wifi. I am able to connect my phone to it with the Nikon Wireless Management Utiity (free download).
  • The Nikon 610 has so many more features that you will be enjoying exploring. One feature is the Wi-Fi. You can connect with your cell phone and download images.
  • I love the Wifi feature and the NFC ability to tap my phone on the camera and pass pictures over the air.
  • Huge down point: whenever the camera is turned off or even goes to sleep, you lose the connection, and have to link up all over again, sometimes with errors because the phone still sees the previous connection.
  • Charging the camera: The manual states you have to use the USB cable that came with the camera. If you use other cables it "could result in overheating or damage to the camera".
Canon PowerShot SX60 Digital Camera
  • The only extra items I carry are extra batteries and SD cards. While my friends are busy changing lenses to get that far away bird, I just touch my zoom button!
  • Easy to use, good quality pictures, and connection to mobile device functionality is great.
  • The zoom is quite awesome even without a tripod. It does easily connect, even with our lousy internet service, to my network and quickly transfers to my smartphone. I
  • If anything is attached to the tripod socket I cannot access the battery/memory card compartment.
  • The only reason I am not giving this camera 5 stars is because you cannot access the battery/memory card while its mounted on a tripod.
