What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Fujifilm FinePix S1 Digital Camera
  • It is a good size for this camera, even with a lens hood on, but more important, it is well protected from the rain.
  • Compact size. It is much lighter and easier to carry around my full feature DSLR, bag, and extra lenses. I wish I'd had this camera last summer when I was backpacking in Yellowstone. I would have loved to shed the extra weight of my telephoto zoom lens!
  • I like the look and feel of the body, even though a bit of the finish has worn off one edge after only two months, but it's hardly noticeable.
  • It gives you many of the features that you might expect from a full-size DSLR yet retains some of the smaller size and lightness of the compact, point and shoot cameras.
  • Light weight and durable with its weather sealing. I added a lens hood for protection of the front element.
Canon PowerShot SX60 Digital Camera
  • Just the right size. Not too big and not too small. Outstanding zoom.
  • This is a versatile camera in a relatively compact size.
  • We bought this one because of its ease of use, amazing telephoto lens, and compact size.
  • Nice light weight for size has good zoom, Still getting familiar.
  • Camera is light weight and takes great pictures for this type of camera.

What customers say about "Imaging"
Fujifilm FinePix S1 Digital Camera
  • From my point of view, it has the aperture priority, shutter priority, and program modes which comprise most of my shooting.
  • The photos were clear at all zoom settings, and the macros were sharp as well.
  • The zoom is my favorite feature. I can get a close-up of the address on a mailbox from 100 feet.
  • Shorter maximum focal length than other 50x Super Zoom cameras. Possibly due to a shorter beginning macro focal length, the S1 on a full Moon evening, will zoom to a point where the entire Moon does not quite fill your frame.
  • There aren't physical dials for shutter speed and aperture. This may be because there is little demand.
Canon PowerShot SX60 Digital Camera
  • At short focal lengths everything is fine my wife has one of these for general photography and likes it a lot.
  • This especially comes in handy for obtaining more stable shots than with a narrower focal length where every little movement becomes exponentially magnified.
  • Fairly decent at high ISO settings, though not spectacular. For eagles and owls, I get better images at the lowest available f-stop, usually 5.7 to 6.3 depending on zoom.
  • This auto ISO feature in the manual mode, allows one to set aperture and shutter and not worry about exposure because the ISO will adjust automatically.
  • Even using a wide variety of ISO settings the pictures always seem to be quite grainy and not what I expected when I bought this camera.

What customers say about "Display"
Fujifilm FinePix S1 Digital Camera
  • Both the screen and eye level viewfinder are about 1 megapixel in resolution, which is good, and both are clear.
  • Has many selections for picture and resolution sizes.
  • The pictures are clear, the colors are true, and the resolution is enough for my 13X19 printer.
  • One negative is that color you see in the viewfinder is somewhat washed out (this is not true of the LCD monitor), but that is not how the photos will look.
  • I'm not a big fan of electronic viewfinders and the EVF in this camera is not that great
Canon PowerShot SX60 Digital Camera
  • High resolution, great zoom, easy to use, sharp photos.
  • Resolution, light sensitivity and mega zoom are great features! It is also easy to use.
  • Easy to use, easily changes from display to viewfinder
  • Recommend, especially like the flexible viewfinder and the macro feature. Easy to follow movement with the auto-focus.
  • The most favorite and useful for me in this camera is its Vari-angle LCD so I can take the pictures and videos in any angle.
  • The viewfinder is very small. The screen is nice though.

What customers say about "Features"
Fujifilm FinePix S1 Digital Camera
  • Manual shooting mode works really well on this camera particularly once you realize that pressing the exposure compensation button when in Manual mode toggles between aperture and shutter speed so that you can use the command dial to make changes easily.
  • There are plenty of shooting modes to keep newbies as happy as the pros.
  • This camera has a lot going for it. I've just begun to explore the various shooting modes but so far it's taking great shots and is intuitive to use.
  • The flash seems to be really good. I find that when I use the flash the picture really balances the colors and light out well.
  • This is inconvenient when shooting sports.
  • I find that if I shoot white subjects in bright sunlight they look washed out. I haven't figured out how to adjust the exposure yet.
Canon PowerShot SX60 Digital Camera
  • Shoots video as well as photos with true colors and both manual and auto shooting modes.
  • The continuous shooting mode is super fast and I get great action shots.
  • Some of the best pictures I’ve ever taken! The creative shot is one of my favorite modes to shoot in, I also love the zoom!
  • The different light options are good, though I still got myself a white balance card so I could get the most accurate shots.
  • They took things away: some "creative" modes, panorama stitching.
  • Shutter speed is a bit slow compared to a Digital SLR but it is a good bridge camera.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Fujifilm FinePix S1 Digital Camera
  • One thing I love about this camera, the battery charges with a micro USB cable, the same one my cell phone uses so I don't have to lug some proprietary cable with me.
  • Battery can be charged in camera by USB.
  • Mini HDMI port works for TV or monitor.
  • Plastic construction materials and awkward USB and HDMI port cover.
  • USB and HDMI ports; and a screw thread for a tripod that is, unfortunately, made of plastic and is not in line with the lens barrel.
Canon PowerShot SX60 Digital Camera
  • The only extra items I carry are extra batteries and SD cards. While my friends are busy changing lenses to get that far away bird, I just touch my zoom button!
  • Easy to use, good quality pictures, and connection to mobile device functionality is great.
  • The zoom is quite awesome even without a tripod. It does easily connect, even with our lousy internet service, to my network and quickly transfers to my smartphone. I
  • If anything is attached to the tripod socket I cannot access the battery/memory card compartment.
  • The only reason I am not giving this camera 5 stars is because you cannot access the battery/memory card while its mounted on a tripod.
