What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Logitech K800 Wireless Illuminated Keyboard
  • I very much like that this feels like a comfortable keyboard to write with. I only wish it had the solar option as well.
  • The entire keyboard is very thin, rising to only about an inch in the very back to allow room for the high capacity rechargeable batteries.
  • This keyboard is perfect for me. The only thing better would be for this keyboard to be ergonomic. Its quiet and it lights up when it knows you are typing but its not a bright light, its just the right amount.
  • Although this keyboard has a very thin overall profile, it is a little heavier than most keyboards.
Logitech K810 Wireless Bluetooth Illuminated Multi-Device Keyboard
  • It's nearly full size, but they do sacrifice a little bit for mobility. Some reviewers derided the keyboard for not being full size and having a 2xAA battery slot--well then maybe don't buy a keyboard designed for mobility.
  • Design: Very well put together. Elegant and thin. The buttons have a nice and subtle curvature. The back has very small rubber feet (it's not clumsy at all, you barely notice them) so the keyboard doesn't slide around.
  • It's beautiful, stylish, and feels just right. What do I mean by that? Well, ever pick up a keyboard (or anything else), and it feels light, maybe a little loose, flimsy, like it just wasn't put together very well or the materials used were cheap?
  • The device always defaults to max illumination when turned on. having to always dim them down is a pain point.
  • Feet could be a little stickier, as this keyboard is also very light-weight. Your desk or tray surface needs to be relatively oil-free to keep the keyboard from sliding a bit. Not a big deal, though - just not up to the level of the rest of the features of this unit.

What customers say about "Keys"
Logitech K800 Wireless Illuminated Keyboard
  • I really like this keyboard. Easy to type on, and the motion activated backlight is really awesome.
  • Works fine, nice quiet keys like a laptop I do wish the key light did not switch off so quick
  • Unlike a lot of illuminated keyboards, that usually blind you by lighting the whole keys, this one has opaque black keys, and only the letters, numbers, symbols, etc. glow with a variable brightness. This makes it very easy to use in low light, or even total darkness.
  • The button on the top right corner for calculator could have been programmable to some other action.
  • The keyboard arrived however the the back button was off or broken, so i had to glue it back.the button is a little bit hard , but I guess that what to expect when you buy a refurbished.
Logitech K810 Wireless Bluetooth Illuminated Multi-Device Keyboard
  • The keyboard feels great. Not as good as a mechanical but as good a chiclet keyboard as I've ever typed on. Ultra light and transportable. It's a perfect fit with a Surface Pro.
  • Feels high quality (aluminum I assume). Keys made of smooth plastic and have a good amount of give.
  • It's tiny. But with full-sized, responsive keys. The backlighting comes on when my fingers are near, and goes off when they leave the keyboard.
  • The Function keys are over-ridden by the device selection functionality. I wish it was the reverse, or there were separate physical keys for switching between devices.
  • The one con that I noticed is that is that it doesn't have a HOME and END key, though if you press FN and LEFT or RIGHT arrow key together it performs that function, and I am starting to get used to it.
  • Needs the full numeric keypad with the page up, down keys etc of a full size keyboard. Some windows do not have scroll bars on current GUI (Adobe/PDF file reader inside of IE)

What customers say about "Features"
Logitech K800 Wireless Illuminated Keyboard
  • Another great feature, is that the keyboard lighting is controlled by a proximity sensor. If you are not moving your hands near the keyboard the illumination turns off to save batteries. But simply move your hands toward the keyboard and it turns back on for easy visibility.
  • Battery could last a bit longer but its enough to not be an issue.
  • But is very comfy and feels great and the illuminated keys are flawless. The only downside I found after a while is that it don't hold the charge like they promised. It could be because I bought a refurbished one? I don't know for sure.
  • Great keyboard but batteries were no good. I wasn't going to ship this back just because the batteries didn't work.
  • They keyboard wouldn't work and it was because the rechargeable batteries were completely dead in the keyboard and would not charge. The cost to order new batteries was about the same as having to pay to ship this non-functional keyboard back.
Logitech K810 Wireless Bluetooth Illuminated Multi-Device Keyboard
  • Pairs with multiple devices: As someone who has two computers and a phone: seriously. Seriously. No really, seriously awesome. It has changed my life more than I would expect any keyboard to be able to.
  • I was really excited about being able to change the device it was connected to easily but felt the extra weight of carrying it around was not a good enough tradeoff.
  • Initial connection with device is straight forward. Just turn it on, identify and select it from the host system, and enter the code on the keyboard.
  • Simple Plug and play setup both on my desktop and iPad (one I try the Surface I'll update this)
  • Does not work with Logitech Unify dongle or software, so you need Bluetooth or a separate dongle; also does not work via USB as a backup
  • Flat angle (keyboard does not angle up at the back for ergonomics - some may have issue)
