- Very nice power feedback while riding. It can put a lot of resistance on climbs.
- I enjoy the direct drive over my rollers. Now you can concentrate on wattage instead of balance.
- Still works well for hills and would recommend as an in home trainer.
- I enjoy every second on the Elite Direto. Very quiet, very accurate and it gives you a pretty good road feeling!

Tacx Flux Smart Trainer (Updated 2018 Version)
- The Flux is an entry level direct drive trainer, and at the price point that I could afford.
- The Tacx Flux reads power on the low slide for your initial push, or when sprinting as it is calculated versus measured (Stages is an actual strain gauge).
- The first ride went great and I was so excited to get to use it before work the next day.
- The usability and riding experience on this trainer is far superior, and at a price of a good wheel-on.
- However on the third ride the internal components of the resistant system malfunctioned at a very low wattage of 130w. How disappointing that Tacx released this product before it was truly ready.

Elite Direto 2 Interactive Smart Trainer 2019 with Riser Block
- The trainer works great with Bluetooth or Ant+. I like it so much, I bought my wife her own (since I have 11 Speed bikes and she has 10 Speed.).
- Easy setup and stable ride. I would put a mat or plywood underneath for sweat and chain lubes.
- After getting a cassette installed, was able to get up and running in minutes. Zwift detected it immediately.
- Comes with software for tracking and control of the unit and a 1 year subscription for the full metrics and analysis
- This thing is so quiet, the fan I use to cool down is louder. My rides are around 5:30am and it doesn't disturb anyone sleeping in the room next to it.
Tacx Flux Smart Trainer (Updated 2018 Version)
- The setup was easy, unbox, slide the legs on and bolt them in place. The hardest part was putting the cassette on, but only because I used the 12T connector instead of the 11T one. Both came with the Flux.
- Connecting the Flux to my iPad and Zwift is really easy. I think the flux runs super quiet.
- Overall, I like the feel of the Flux Smart versus the Vortex, especially for time trial and out-of-the-saddle efforts.
- The Flux Smart Trainer was my first smart trainer purchase. This is no small spend by any means, but having a quiet trainer that I can ride early in the morning or late at night and not wake up the family is key.
- The wheel is making a unexpected noise.
