- This tool is the bomb! If you're spending more than $10 on a bottle of red wine, having it aerated just before it hits the glass makes all the difference in the world. I didn't believe it until I tried a glass of red with and without aeration.
- I had remained a sceptic about aerators until my friends and relatives convinced me to re-evaluate them. I choose the Venturi because it is made of high quality glass and includes a small screen filter.
- While at dinner they brought out a bottle of moderately priced wine and the Vinturi aerator. I was intrigued with this clever gadget and sampled a glass poured through the aerator and one not.
- Works great. Takes a bit of getting used to since the wine has to be poured with a steady hand at a constant pace so the air intake holes are always covered.
- It is so great to get these results by pouring the wine through the aerator. Now there is no wait time and my wine taste as if it has been carefully decanted. I would recommend this to everyone that loves red wine.

- It also has a strainer which comes into its own if the cork has crumbled. For cleaning, after use, I immediately put it in an old 1-litre plastic water bottle (with the top cut off) filled with water and washing up liquid.
- Vvery easy to use, clean and great for when you only want a glass, not a bottle (very rare in my house!).
- In fact I may be nose and mouth-blind. It's a great topic of conversation though, which is worth every penny!!
- You can put it in a dishwasher, but the black plastic seemed to develop a slight discolouration.
- Poor quality and non existent quality control. Not worth the hassle of returning but cannot recommend in any way.
Vinturi V1071 Deluxe Red Wine Aerator Set
- Since the stand is just a convenience and does not contribute to the aeration (which works just fine), I would suggest buying the same product without the stand if that costs lesser.
- The stand looks really need on a counter and everybody always asks me "WOW what's this?!" It's a great tool for heavier wines that you don't have time to let open before you want to drink them, though it helps with lighter wines too.
- The stand would be a little handier to use and provides a good place to keep the Vinturi.
- The aeration itself works great in airing the wine but the stand is not good. When the aerator drips it doesn't fall into the small dish below. I
- After just a couple of months of use, and hand washing, the aerator has many hairline cracks in it.
