The display is good but not great. Huawei was using IPS LCD displays and I don't think they made the jump to AMOLED until the Mate 10 Pro which came out about 6 months before this one.
The screen is bright and beautiful, detecting traces super fast.
The display is awesome, too. The Amoled technology leads to awesome colors especially the black is deep and contrast.
The AMOLED capacitive touchscreen is very bright and i can easy see photos at the sun.
The resolution is FHD rather than QHD which probably won't bother most users. There is an annoying notch which can be hidden with a black bar in the display settings.

The screen is very nice, maybe not as vivid as the one the S8 has, but still very comfortable.
The display is awesome, too. The Amoled technology leads to awesome colors especially the black is deep and contrast.
The display is not as good as iphone. It lacks the sharp contrast as Iphone does. This is an issue to me when I browse website at night time. In the daytime, it's ok.
The additional screen real estate is pretty nice, and the picture taking software is pretty amazing. I

Camera is awesome, the ai-run camera software makes some rather stunning photos.
Takes very good pictures and super fast. Feels very solid.

Photography is excellent. The colour camera is great as expected. But what is really mind blowing is the awesomeness of the black & white sensor. This is not just a gimmic; it is an excellent camera that I now use most of the time, as the results are simply incredible in all light situations.
Camera: Excellent. Photos look professional and have almost no processing time.
The phone takes excellent photos (you can even take artistic photos in Black and White) and is very agile in the operation.
Image recognition that is surprisingly good and optimizes how the camera handles a situation. I was at a nightclub and it recognized a stage performance and changed the settings for a nice picture.
This also has a great camera and screen and pictures are very nice.

Sound quality is great. Speakers are of equal quality to iPhone.
There're so many more pros to describe face recognition, water-resistant, design, just not enough time.
The phone transfer tool does a good job transferring pretty much everything.
Location of the power button is too close to volume control - at least for me, maybe it's just changing a habit from my previous phone.
Battery life is great and the camera is one of the best. However, Bluetooth is the worst. Can't connect to my Lexus R350 or my Sedan. If you can overlook the Bluetooth problem, it's a great phone.

The fingerprint scanner works very quickly and wakes up the phone automatically.
The phone comes with everything you need: a basic transparent case, pre-installed tempered glass screen protector, USB C headset (music and phone), USB C adapter to use headphones with a 3.5mm analogue connector and an ultra-fast wall charger with a cable USB C.
Another interesting feature is that it allows you to create a private account that can be accessed with the fingerprint or password.
I personally like it has it has key features on the front for my travel. The one challenge I had had is that Huawei update security patches slower than the Pixel, which is not surprising given that Pixel is the Google reference phone, but still a minor inconvenience.

Battery is great. Even for a heavy user like me, there's enough juice for a whole day at work with 20-30% left when I go to bed. On the day off work, I have 50-60% left by the end of the day.
Battery life. For a 5.5-inch phone, it is stellar. Two days or more before recharging, for my use: making and receiving calls, browser, social media, newspaper app, a lot of photos, basic editing on the phone, sound recording.
Such an awesome phone. The camera is superb and lots of memory. The battery lasts long and overall I'm really happy.The phone charges quickly and battery life is above average.
Great camera and great battery. It lasts up to 3 days.
The battery is running too fast. Not Recommended

Battery life is incredible. I was playing with the phone all day long yesterday and before going to bed I still had 55% left. With normal use, one could easily stretch it beyond 2 days.
An excellent battery of 4000. It usually last from 24 to 30 hours before recharging. I use black colors and use the energy save mode.
Battery life: the best in a flagship phone. I can go all day wakeup to bed and not go below 50%. Has all the standard power options, but additionally can lower the screen resolution to save battery.
If the battery saving option is chosen, the system stops synchronizing the mail and the contacts automatically, but also gives problems if one wishes to do it manually.
