The display is absolutely beautiful. The new screen allows for individual pixels to be turned on or off which makes the blacks super dark as there's no backlight. I think this is also why the battery life is so awesome.
Screen brightness is significantly higher by default than the 6p. The battery life is also significantly different as far as drainage per usage minute surfing, games, music, etc. The size fits way better in my pocket and hand.
Out of the box, the Pixel 2 has an always on display showing the time/date, and app icon notification.
The screen, while vibrant and clear, is very bright. Its crisp clear and very pleasing to look at.
Automatic brightness is not responsive. It only dims a bit.
Bought this phone after it went on sale for $450 and it was nothing but problems for 3 days. The screen would lock up, the phone would randomly shut down and or restart.

This is my favorite phone I've ever owned. Its fast, good battery, large storage size, and large size screen.
I really like the Moto Z Force phone. Coming from a Turbo Droid II, I like the larger screen size and the battery life (surprisingly).
The screen looks good. And, I love the fingerprint reader -- I never want to get another phone without this feature, way better than entering a long password all day long or trying to set up geo zones that it remains unlocked.
Thus far this phone is great! It is faster, eaiser, and lighter. They didn't tell me the face is plastic and I would still need a screen protector. I had to order it. Yet the pictures are crystal clear.
The screen resolution is awesome. The camera I'm not too thrilled with. That's the only reason for 4 stars.

There is absolutely no lag in this phone. As soon as you touch a button or spot on the screen, its already where you need to be before the entire weight of your finger crashes down. You can snap photos one after the other and not face any dreaded processing hold screen.
Snappy snapdragon 835 is amazing. It houses a phenomonal performance in the processor area, graphical area with the adreno graphics and it is efficient on battery.
I got this phone for my wife and she loves it. It's clean and fast android.
I purchased this about a month ago and so far I really like it The Google Pixel 2 is fast and the picture quality is very good.
Get this phone over the Iphone, it is so super fast and so much easier to you. All of your stuff is saved via your google account, and not some stupid apple ID. Great phone camera and overall visually great display.

The phone itself is fast! It has the same processor that the Galaxy s8's have and doesn't have all the extra Bloat ware attached.
Been using it for two weeks. Loaded it up with a bunch (like 30) of my prefered apps and the phone is still rock solid and fast.
The best phone I ever have. It is fast, no lags, has 4GB of memory, 64GB of storage space and I just added a 128GB for extra room.
The Moto mods feature is cool but gets pricey. It's really fast when I comes to surfing the web.
The Moto Z2 Force does not disappoint. It's fast, easy to use and durable.

Don't get me wrong, the camera is the best I've seen on a phone. But comparing to the Nexus 5x, you don't notice THAT much of a difference.However, with the performance, you can actually take pictures and not have the phone crash on you.
The phone is not as user friendly as the iPhone, but once you get it set up to your liking, it's amazing. The camera is terrific.
The camera on here is great. It is steady and accurate. The photo capturing while moving in motion to get the best shot possible is phenominal. Camera sensor is accurate on color, depth, clarity and blows the previous generation out the water.
The phone had an excellent camera that topped the iphone X that my girlfriend has.
This phone has the best camera out of any of the 15 phones I've had in the past which were always the latest and greatest at the time. Takes flawless pics even when really quickly snapping pics and shaking.

The dual camera is really cool, ability to change the foreground subject onto a different background is fun, as well as blurring the background but not the foreground subject.
The upgraded dual camera on the back can do some neat tricks as well.
Love my new phone and the fact you can't break the screen. I have had two earlier motos break. I have the camera mod and it great for better photos.
I got this phone mainly for the camera, and it's just OK. Low-light performance is terrible. I do like the selfie flash, which is well color-balanced. The depth focus feature is cool but not something I use regularly. I like the B+W camera feature; it has good tonal range.

OK Google detection is much improved. Not sure if this is due to hardware or software, but I no longer have issues waking my phone up to tell it to create a reminder or something like that.
Finger print sensor is lightning fast. Haven't had too many issues with my fingerprint not reading although I did load the same finger twice to get better results.
Always on display is great when you're sleeping and as you can glace over to look if you have it on a smartphone stand on the nightstand.
I miss the headphone jack. i use corded headphones regularly. That being said, I rarely use the headphone jack and charge the phone at the same time so using the USB-C to 3.5 mm audio adapter hasn't been an issue.
Bluetooth volume doesn't match the folume range of the Bluetooth device. In other words I can control the full range of the Bluetooth in 20% of the volume visual control range.

Best part of phone is ability to navigate via the finger print sensor! Takes a bit getting use to but definitely a game changer.
The printer mod is my daughters favorite. She loves taking goofy pics, printing them, and sticking them all over. Printer is definitely a fun mod.
The OLED screen is very colorful, dual cameras are nice (color and black-and-white).
I am new to Androids, but I am impressed with the functions on this phone, especially the dual front cameras and the effects that can be done with B&W and color.

With my previous Nexus 5x, if I used the phone (basic stuff like reading news, listening to music, and maybe watching a couple youtube videos/using the maps app) I could maybe make it half a day. With the Pixel 2 after a day of light use I still have 50% battery left.
Battery: EASILY make it through a day. Heavy use acquired about 5-5.5 hours of screen on time MAX.
This phone has great features and a very good battery life!
Easy to use, intuitive, very user friendly, long long long battery life.
Battery drain so fast after using it for 30 days. Reached out to google, recognized problem with the battery but asked me to get it exchanged through Bestbuy or Verizon.

I heard a lot of negative things about the battery life, but to date have not seen any short life battery issues. I have had great connectivity, and the phone voice quality is great.
This is an awesome buy! Good battery life, no lag!
This phone was less expensive than my last one and the battery is much better. the phone functions great too.
Excellent phone, has various add on attachments. Takes great pictures, battery last all day.
I realize that battery performance varies greatly depending on cell signal strength, but I've had really inconsistent battery life even at the exact same job site with the phone sitting in the car all day. Sometimes it'll drain only a few % over 8 hours of complete non-use, sometimes it'll drain 60%
