What's most amazing about this optic is that it is extremely lightweight (basically 4 ounces?!?) but still maintains durability.
Great sight. Never had a single issue with an aimpoint. this was exactly what i needed.
Solid red dot in a tiny package. Easy to aquire with both eyes open. Holds it's zero while firing.
For moderately close range, this solution is amazing. I am really impressed.
This is my second T-1. The first one is on my 300BLK. The ease of sighting in and the power conservation are great features. If I need another red-dot, I know what I'll get.
Received a fake sight that was a airsoft clone. The dot could be changed between red and green. There was no serial number on the side of it and the aimpoint logo was in the wrong spot. The dial numbering for dot intensity was painted in either red or green when it should of been white.
Fake. Logo is printed on top, no serial number. I should have paid attention to the reviews.

I went out to the range with my AR and the sight performs beautifully. There have been many, many reviews on this sight by shooters who are much more experienced and smarter than me, so I won't even bother continuing. I have nothing to add. It's a great sight, plain and simple.
PA is probably good enough for most, but side by side, there is no comparison. No red glare from the emitter, no blue/green tint to the sight picture. Nice sharp, yet small dot.
The turret adjustments for windage and elevation, and for adjusting the red dot illumination levels have positive "clicks" and no slop.
The serial number and Aimpoint logo is supposed to be engraved near the bottom of the optic housing's side. My serial number was a paint stamp, and does not show anything for the company's logo.
Be careful! What I received was a counterfeit. Had no Aiipoint logo and battery cap was flat not domed!

This sight is significantly pricier than the Aimpoint Micro H-1, and the only difference is the first couple of brightness settings are for using NIGHTVISION for maximum tacticool experience. Still, you only buy one of these once.
This thing has a lot of strengths. One, it's easy to use. I find myself on setting 10 most of the time but in lower light situations 8 works as well (it goes up to 12 of brightness).
I love my aim point... After the recalls on EOTech I will only use aim point from now on... I mounted my aim point with a LaRue tactical on my SCAR-L for absolute cowitness and it works flawlessly!
When it comes to red dots, t1 is perfect for your AK front mount. T1 is same as H1 or R1 (you can just paint that one), HOWEVER, get it if you want to run Night Vision. This is perfect match for your PVS-14 people.
Wrong finish,Turrets are wrong. Brightness controls on left side? No aimpoint markings on optic.
Purchazed this trough one of Amazons vendors, at the begining all twelve settings work as advertized, Then about one hundred rounds later I turned it on at the range and to my surprise the first nine settings did not show a red dot only settings working 10,11 and12.

Excellent reticle and sight, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to use this on a pistol or an AR with standard iron sights.
The flip caps (see-thru ocular lens cap, and opaque objective lens cap) that are included with the scope are valuable accessories for protecting the lenses and are convenient to use.
The aluminum alloy scope body is durable but lightweight, and is immaculately anodized. Overall, a superb product.
I own several other T1 aimpoints. These are the best red dot sights available, hands down. The sight never has any zero shift, even with hard use.
The lens covers are supposed to say Aimpoint somewhere on them. Mine do not.
The Micro T-2 is supposed to have 12 different brightness settings, and an off position. Mine only had 11 brightness levels and an off position.

The battery lasts as advertised -- it's been on since I received it.
Simply install the batteries, turn it on, sight in at the range and forget about it for a year or more.

Battery life is just amazing, although i usually turn the unit off when storing long term.
I'm very pleased I switched over from Eotech. And, with the purported 5-year battery life, I will be popping zombies well into TEOTWAKI.
This optic is incredible and the fact that you leave it on and the battery lasts for years is a plus. Would definitely purchase again.
The battery life is out of this world! Six years continuously on! Yes, you read it correctly. 6 years always on!
