What customers say about "Key Specs"
AimPoint PRO (12841) Patrol Rifle Optic
  • Very nice product i love it. Reticle is sharp and crisp.
  • Retains zero even if you remove it from your rifle thanks to the tension knob.
  • Great red dot optic. Took it to the range last weekend and got it sighted in. Performed extremely well and was able to get it on bulls-eye in no time with a laser bore sight. Very good clarity on the glass with a slight blue tint.
  • Excellent red dot... Adjustable reticle (dimmable), which makes it night vision (NV) compatible.
  • I think the reticle is not as crisp as my Eotech, and the first few settings seems useless (invisible to my eye anyway).
AimPoint Micro H-1 (200018) 2 MOA W/Standard Mount
  • This is clearly the best red dot on the market for handguns. I use it on a heavy recoiling .44 magnum and it stands up to the abuse.
  • Excellent Aimpoint H1, great red dot optics, light weight, compact sight. I would highly recommend this optic for close quarter use.
  • It is very easy to see the dot and you can easily adjust the brightness. One really nice feature is the adjustment covers double as the needed tool to perform the adjustment.
  • My only criticism is that the printing inside the caps that tells you what direction to rotate it for a particular correction is so small I cannot read it without my reading glasses.
  • This is a top-quality, durable optic but I would not advise using this if you have very precise vision or a magnifier. The generation one aim points tend not to have a resolute dot. Mine showed up like a slash, looking almost like this the keyboard character "/" under no magnification.

What customers say about "Features"
AimPoint PRO (12841) Patrol Rifle Optic
  • The included Aimpoint mount is perfect height to cowitness the magpul sights.
  • The brightest setting seems a bit larger than 2 moa and creates a red halo around the outer edge of the optic. I think two clicks down from full bright provides my most desirable sight picture. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
  • The lowest settings can really be fine tuned for use with NV, and the 4 upper setting should get you through most lighting situations. It's an awesome value.
  • Maintained zero after being bounced around a bit, without breathing hard. Very rugged, positive feel. Simple and very positive picatinny mount, and tethered covers for windage/elevation adjustment.
  • Rear cap lens was scratched when I received the product.
  • Tension knob for the mount catches on my chest rig sporadically (the knob is a bit bulky).
AimPoint Micro H-1 (200018) 2 MOA W/Standard Mount
  • It is also paralax free. Wherever the dot is that's where you're going to hit. If you like the best, this is it.
  • Cant't see spend the extra money for the T-1 I will never use night vision with the Aimpoint micro. Its tough, water proof, shock proof and keeps it zero with the LaRue mount I use. I am on target out to 200 yards. Any greater distance I use another rifle and another optic.
  • This is the perfect scope as my arms get weaker and my eyesight less precise. Light weight and clear. High price is mostly forgotten with the joy of use.
  • The flaw: the red dot is not a dot. It's more of a diagonal line that grows in size with intensity setting. Real disappointment.
  • I purchased one to replace an EOTech 512. The Aimpoint H1 broke the first time I used it. While trying to sight it in the top adjustment seized up and would not move any more. You would think that with how much this item costs they would make it more durable than that.

What customers say about "Power"
AimPoint PRO (12841) Patrol Rifle Optic
  • Battery life is great. Have had it constantly "on" for months now.
  • The unit seems well made, solid, and I like the long battery life.
  • I have left this on for almost 2 years straight, and the battery is still going strong.
  • Battery apparently lasts for years, even w/ the optic left on (although, I'd probably swap it out every other year just because I'm anal about that).
AimPoint Micro H-1 (200018) 2 MOA W/Standard Mount
  • The best red dot sight. It's small light and extremely well manufactured. The battery life is expected to last in several years.
  • The build quality, the battery life, it's all top notch.
  • Battery life is awesome. Overall good product from aimpoint.
