I have had this radio installed in my center console on my Mako it works awesome no issues so far and I use it a LOT.
Only running 2 speakers, going to add 2 more. Very happy with this stereo. Hope it holds up to the weather.
Within 14 months it started having technical problems. The screen will often not respond. It has to be turned "off".
While it was playing one afternoon it just stopped. It has power into the unit, but it does not respond to pressing the power button.
Worked great for winter maybe 6 trips in boat. Now it doesn't work.

Great sound, looks great too. So far very happy, but just installed it today.

Rotary volume knob. Lighter weight and smaller than a CD player unit.
Bluetooth to phone for streaming Pandora is wonderful.
Bluetooth was difficult to set up, cause I don’t read manuals. Thankfully JVC has an awesome technical phone support.
BT set up was fairly simple and there are several options for listening to different media.
I gotta go without a radio for however long till I send it in and they say. Oh its got moisture around it. Its a marine radio.

Works and sounds great. Very pleased. Large display is easy to read.
Best feature is the bluetooth. Hands free phone calls thru the speaker volume is great in a jeep.
Since this doesn't have a CD player, the device is not as deep and fits well in the dash.
Comfortable faceplate lighting for nighttime navigating and easily visible / legible in daylight hours, great sound and graphics.
I didn't get hardly any water on it but maybe a couple drops that I couldn't avoid and now I no longer have a radio!
