The new INSTAX Mini 8 features automatic exposure measurement. The camera signals the recommended aperture setting with a flashing LED light and the user can manually adjust the dial to the recommended setting. This helps the user capture the perfect photo every time. A new High-Key mode is available on the INSTAX Mini 8 cameras.

Great quality of image and lighter weight makes this camera perfect for my 18-year old daughter.
It has a good weight and it's not too small. I like the simplicity of it cause it doesn't call too much attention.
Further, even though this camera isn't quite as sturdy and well built as the vintage ones, it is by no means shoddy or junk...it's just mostly plastic and more light weight.
First off, this camera is HUGE. It's almost as big as my head. I was quite surprised at the sheer size of this camera.
The only issue i have the size. This thing is massive.

Really love it works great super fun to use! Light weight small to carry around!
It's light in weight where she just wear it around her neck (neck strap not included) takes under a min to load new film.
The only con is that the camera is quite bulky.

Comes with a close-up adapter for talking photos of flowers, butterflies, etc.
The film is easy to load.
It takes AA batteries which is nice since they're easy to find and replace.
The selfie function really seems to work well. There is a clip that you fit onto the end of the lens that makes the lens have a shorter focal distance and also has a mirror so you can see what the image crop will be.
The viewfinder is hard to see through. My eyelashes kept hitting it.
The flash goes off on its own mind, even when turned off.
