What customers say about "Key Specs"
Nikon Prostaff 7 (7538) 10x42 Binocular (Black)
  • Depth perception and color accuracy are superb, tending towards a slight excess of 3D effect.
  • Great binoculars, solid feel and excellent depth of image.
  • Light weight, focus fast and clearly and have a bright field of view.
  • The eye relief is a little less than perfect in terms of setting the cups for those of us who do not wear glasses and the lens covers are a bit of a pain in the rear.
  • The lens caps are a joke. You can attach them to the cord but that doesn't work all that well.
  • My only problem is that the lens caps are terrible, especially the little ones.
Nikon Monarch 7 10x42 ED ATB Waterproof/Fogproof Binoculars with Case
  • I have not yet tested the bins in difficult situations, but can report they are easy to use, to find a bird in flight, easy to focus, and easy to use with eyeglasses.
  • Anything higher and you may need image stabilization software within the binoculars (but incurs a hefty weight increase). Good for bird watching and sky gazing.
  • Great binoculars. I didn't realize how much better they could be until I spent the money on some quality optics.
  • Great binoculars. Clear and easy to see detail in lower light. I love them

What customers say about "Features"
Nikon Prostaff 7 (7538) 10x42 Binocular (Black)
  • Binoculars is extremely clear, easy to focus and have a great rubberized coating on the outside.
  • Quite light for a large binocular and very good quality for a set that was not expensive.
  • Great binoculars. I bought them for my dad to replace his Bushnell binos and this is head and shoulders better in quality and clarity. Great light gathering. Good eye relief.
  • As other buyers, I don’t agree with the protective caps. Those at the eye side are BIGGER than the rings, and those at the front side don’t have a good hole to hold in the neck strap.
  • The only problem i have found is that the eye cup covers fall off some.
Nikon Monarch 7 10x42 ED ATB Waterproof/Fogproof Binoculars with Case
  • The focus is incredibly sharp and virtually no distortion. The only odd thing is that the bins
  • Excellent quality. Light, easy to travel with.
  • Nice compact size, excellent clarity just right for birding and more.
  • Replacement for the ones I bent somehow. I wish the case had its own strap. Nice quality binos.
