What customers say about "Key Specs"
Swagman G10 Hitch Bike Rack
  • I took two Heavy bikes 3,000 miles on the RV and the rack worked Great with no bungees or straps or anything!
  • This is a rock solid bike rack on a Class II hitch. The cable and hitch lock are included and work great.
  • I have class 1 receiver and the included threaded receiver pin kept the sway to a minimum. It comes with a class 2 adapter, so i could use it on my Jeep but haven't tried it yet.
  • What a great product. Every thing is metal and easily adjusted. I love the fact that you can slide the lock down, turn the key and walk away.
  • Solid, heavy duty construction. The rack feels sturdy and durable. Simple assembly. Fits 1 1/4" and 2" Hitches.
Swagman Chinook Hitch Bike Rack
  • Holds the bikes perfectly and makes loading, unloading and accessing the rear of the vehicle a breeze.
  • The hitch folds down to allow access to the rear hatch, and folds up reasonably well to get out of the way when not being used.
  • Locks both to the car and the arms lock down to secure the bike, I feel very safe and confident leaving my bike on the rack in public.
  • Folds up against the car when it's not in use, getting it out of the way and allowing me to leave it on the car.
  • Rear door will not open with the rack folded tight up against the vehicle, has to either be level mast down or tilted away.

What customers say about "Construction"
Swagman G10 Hitch Bike Rack
  • This is an awesome bike carrier. Easy to install. Every piece is well made, durable.
  • Bikes don't touch each other and are secure when hooked/strapped into the rack.
  • We bought this to haul my bike and my daughter's bike (a 24-inch) and they both fit nicely.
  • Easy to adjust for the different bike sizes and I like the security options that come with it.
  • Very strongly built. Holds our two 40+ pound bikes easily and firmly. Excellent design, adjusts easily, looks cool too.
Swagman Chinook Hitch Bike Rack
  • The integrated locks on the frame hooks adds a nice piece of mind for general use.
  • Once strapped down with wheel straps and short hook holding the frame it appears to be a solid setup.
  • Decent quality metal used in the construction. Doesn’t feel like bottom of the line pop steel.
  • This thing is made with pretty heavy gauge steel, so nobody did this by hand.
  • With the vertical bar raised, it is a little awkward to mound a bike between the bar and the car.

What customers say about "Features"
Swagman G10 Hitch Bike Rack
  • I love the features on this rack like how it has the lock system and is simple to use and convenient getting bikes on and off.
  • The rack folds tightly up against my car when not in use. Also, the included security features of being able to lock the bikes AND the bike rack are well worth the money.
  • I have now used this bike rack with the adapter for 2" hitches on a different vehicle, and it worked great!
  • Great Bike Carrier. Hitch mounting is the way to go for bike transport! I really like how it all folds up for compact transport when a bike is not on the carrier.
  • Comes with hitch lock and cable. I was able to access my trunk without having to unload the bikes. Drove on freeway 70-80MPH without any issue.
Swagman Chinook Hitch Bike Rack
  • It holds my bikes securely and by tilting it down, I can open the hatch and access the rear cargo area with the bikes attached.
  • The biggest bonus of this carrier is the tilt back features. In case you need to get anything out of the back of your SUV and need to lift the rear hatch the rack easily tilts away with bikes on it to allow rear access to your truck.
  • Sturdy, doesn't wobble, it feels solid and my bike doesn't bounce around and I have no concern it will "fall out" or something.
  • One unanticipated problem was my wife's "easy mount" bike frame, because it dips low by the pedals, I had to reverse the hold down hooks on the mast.
  • I just loved the way my bike looks on it and if I make a quick pit stop it feels secure with the top locked.
