The LeakGuard™ treatment, aside from preventing leaks, protects the bags from cuts. The checkered design ensures that the bags remain stretchable at the top and, using reinforced bands, contain the bulk in the middle.
The strings are hard to pull.
Glade ForceFlex Trash Bags are probably the toughest, most resilient bags. With these bags, you can throw everything into the garbage can without worrying about the bag leaking, tearing, or ripping along the way.
100 trash bags
Unique checkerboard pattern, OdorShield™ technology (Moonlight Breeze scent), LeakGuard™ protection, Drawstring
23.5" x 25.4"
Made from heavy-duty polyethylene, these trash bags are more puncture-resistant than most, so cardboard milk and juice boxes will seldom be able to tear them with their sharp edges. The 220-count package should last you quite some time.
No twist ties.
Forid Medium Garbage Bags, with the see-through, semi-transparent treatment, will enable viewing and identifying the contents. Thanks to that, separating recyclable materials and non-recyclable becomes an easy task.
220 trash bags
21" x 25.2"
The OdorShield™ tech, incorporating double-layered lining, traps, locks, and neutralizes odors, ensuring that the kitchen remains clean and fresh. The tech also keeps the odors trapped ~4-5 days before giving up and letting them seep out.
The scent is a little too much.
These trash bags from Glade, measuring 13 gallons volume-wise, will fit extra-tall bins (we're talking as high as 2 feet). The LeakGuard™ will trap liquids and keep the trash can dry. The 3-ply drawstring will grip the can and prevent the bag from skidding.

Unique checkerboard pattern, OdorShield™ technology (Fresh Clean scent), LeakGuard™ protection, Drawstring
23.5" x 25.4"
Featuring red drawstrings, the bags enable easy tying and hassle-free carrying, so you can take out the trash without getting your hands dirty. The 'string also prevents the bags from sliding around the trash bin.
The bags are not stretchable at all.
Solimo Tall Drawstring Trash Bags are available as 45-, 90-, 120-, and 200-count kits, meaning that you are able to test the product first and then commit to the more expensive package when you know that the product is good.
120 trash bags
24" x 27.4"
The bags have no chemical smell to them, the smell that usually accompanies garbage bags. They're also less static, which means that fitting them in trash bins is less challenging compared to most trash bags.
The bags are not puncture-resistant.
Solimo Multipurpose Drawstring Trash Bags are, indeed, multipurpose. Measuring 30 gallons volume-wise and stretching 30 x 33 inches, these bags can easily fit sizable office trash cans. They will also let you transport valuable items (like clothes).

Keeping the Kitchen Odor-Free
Glade ForceFlex Trash Bags will make you feel glad you purchased these bags. Still trash bags, this 100-count kit packs a little extra, more than its contemporaries are bringing to the
First, the company's LeakGuard™ protection treatment is excellent at preventing leaks, so you do not have to squeeze fruit leftovers and anything that might leak dry, the bags will trap the liquids without letting them go. The treatment also protects them against ripping and tearing, which means you will not have to smoosh everything before dropping into the bin.
Meanwhile, the liners will keep the grip on the trash can tight, enabling easy removal by cinching the durable drawstring. Some find the string a little hard to pull but this is the trade-off when you're making them as resilient as they're here.
Last but not least, we have the diamond/checkered design making these thick trash bags stretchable at the top, all while the reinforced bands are containing the bulk around the middle.
Even without talking about the OdorShield™ technology trapping odors and the subtle yet noticeable Moonlight Breeze scent, these plastic bags come out victorious against most trash bag kits available today, even though you're paying a little extra.

FORID Clear Medium Garbage Bags
Recycling Made Easy
Forid Medium Garbage Bags are a little different. Even though also plastic, these bags are semi-translucent, with the see-through design letting you view and identify the contents, helping you separate recyclable materials from non-recyclable.
You'd think that the see-through treatment would make these medium bags fragile but this is not quite the case. Sure, they're not the toughest bags but, made from high-strength PE (polyethylene), the bags become puncture-resistant and quite good at trapping liquids inside.
Quantity-wise, the 220-count kit will last, no need to elaborate here. But we will elaborate on the bags' design though. Some people might disagree but we would like to see twist ties added next time because, without them, the bags are not that comfortable to handle, especially considering the below-average 8-gallon volume. Still, measuring 21 x 25.2 inches, they're not the smallest bags, accommodating most trash cans.
Without going into unnecessary details, this kit is an eco-conscious choice, the choice that you will probably make if you would prefer to reduce your environmental footprint. With these trash bags, you will start becoming part of the solution rather than part of the problem.

Trapping, Locking, and Neutralizing Odors
Glade ForceFlex Trash Bags are making the list again, which's understandable considering that they're probably the best trash bags right now. This time, we will start with the OdorShield™ tech, the bags' biggest selling point along with the LeakGuard™ construction. Featuring double-layered lining and offering Febreze freshness, the bags are trapping, locking, and neutralizing odors, keeping the kitchen smelling fresh and clean at least 5 days before the odors start seeping out.
Then, we have the aforementioned LeakGuard™ coating, trapping liquids and preventing them from escaping the bags. Unlike almost identical bags from the same company, these ones are not leading the list only because the Fresh Clean scent is a little too much compared to the Moonlight Breeze, even overpowering at times.
Apart from that, they're the same bags, including the diamond pattern that stretches at the top and reinforces the middle, containing the bulk there. Following suit, the drawstring remains tough as nails and twice as durable, with the three-ply construction gripping the can and making sure the bags stay in place.
Bottom line, Glade ForceFlex Trash Bags are the most layered, sophisticated garbage bags, not the words we would usually use to describe trash bags yet here we are.

Solimo Tall Kitchen Drawstring
Large Red Drawstrings
Solimo Tall Drawstring Trash Bags are standard garbage bags, nothing more, nothing less. The issue with them is that the bags are not stretchable at all but, considering that they're measuring 24 x 27.4 inches, we can forgive the mishap. You can choose between 45-, 90-, 120-, and 200-count packages, which is nice since that means you do not have to commit straight away and can test the product with the 45-count kit and, when you know the bags suffice, go with the 200-count one.
They're not the most durable plastic bags but not the most delicate either. Cardboard boxes might puncture them at times, unfortunate but it is what it is. The bags are leakproof though, containing liquids and making sure you're not spilling on the floors when taking out the trash.
The red drawstring close is probably the product's most defining characteristic, enabling easy tying and carrying. Plus, the drawstring ensures that the bag does not slide around the can, sitting nice and tight.
Long story short, there are advantages to the more costly trash bags but, as far as an average customer is concerned, these bags from Solimo get the job done, so investing in something more expensive will not make enough difference to justify the price.

Solimo Multipurpose Drawstring
Not Just Trash
Solimo Multipurpose Drawstring Trash Bags are huge. With the 30-gallon capacity, these are not the bags you use indoors. These are the bags that are covering sizable garbage cans, with the bags pushing 30 x 33 inches. They're not the cheapest bags, which's understandable considering the size and the volume. There's no chemical smell to these bags that accompanies most garbage bags and a little less static, so fitting them inside trash cans is a less challenging task.
That being said, they're also not the toughest bags, featuring no puncture resistance at all, so even semi-sharp objects will easily rip through them. On the upside, these black bags are leakproof, trapping liquids and preventing them from seeping through.
The 50-count rolls will usually last months since, again, these are not the bags you use indoors. Plus, the bags are easy to separate from the rolls, with easily noticeable lines telling you where the bags end. Finally, the bags come equipped with sizable red drawstrings, so you can carry them no muss, no fuss.
In other words, these bags will fit large garbage cans outdoors. They will also fit those office cans that medium-sized offices are usually using. You can even use them for transporting valuable items.

What Are Trash Bags?
Trash is not the most glamorous subject, few will disagree. There's also nothing especially interesting and exciting about anything that pertains to trash, like trash bags. That being said, these plastic bags may not be exciting but they're more necessary than most items that can be described as exciting.
Holding the waste and keeping the can/bin clean, they're an affordable solution that most people use, so common that the statement becomes redundant without even knowing who's reading it. Still, even with trash bags, there are differences between good and bad bags.
More often than not, these differences revolve around the plastic construction. More specifically, whether the bag is recyclable/biodegradable, whether it is puncture-resistant and leakproof, whether the plastic is stretchable, and whether the bags come with drawstrings. Without these 'strings, trash bags will usually skid and slide around the container. Plus, when you don't have drawstrings at your disposal, taking out the trash becomes a little less pleasant.
