The FieldTrainer® 425 takes the most advanced, industry-leading technology that SportDOG® has ever built into its e-collars and packaged it up in the most compact system ever offered. Ideal for training in the yard or field, or for hunting with close-working dogs, the SD-425 allows you to switch instantly between 7 levels of low/medium stimulation, as well as train with vibration and tone options.

- The range is awesome - 350 yards!
- The range is great, and the charge lasts a good long time. I would 100% recommend this product for anyone thats got a naughty pup or needs a little bit of help with training!

- She responds very well to the beep and we never have to give her any type of shock. This product has great range and is very dependable.
- Range of reciever and different tone and vibrate settings are good; however, I recomend one that uses standard batteries.

- The battery life is better then previous models ( from 3 years ago ) I live in Alaska, so I use it in the winter months. this has double the life as previous models
- The second button that gives a greater shock is a good idea in practice, but I rarely find myself using it.
- My wife and I received the collar quickly, as is usual with Amazon, and opened it up and installed the batteries that are included. We were hopeful but skeptical of obtaining a positive result.
- The batteries are the same for the receiver and transmitter ( thanks for this common sense item )
- Batteries - takes 2032 lithium - flat coin ( cheap online, expensive in town )

- Build quality of the unit is great; it is submersion-proof; and, charges very quickly.
- It's compact and very easy to use, reasonable and very effective it takes very little for my dog to respond I'm really glad I purchased it.
- Nice compact size and easy to learn how to use. Included DVD helped to get started quickly. Like rechargeable feature over having to mess with all the batteries.
- Has good range and the battery life exceeded my expectations.
- Very durable and made well. Small, lightweight, and charges quickly.
