What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Professional Monitor Headphones
  • They are full sized headphones; however, they do fold up for easier transport.
  • Housed within the plastic exterior is a metal frame that gives the headphones just the right amount of weight, assuring its durability.
  • The handset at first sight gives an impression of good construction, has a good weight.
  • The only cons I really have for them is the weight and stiffness. The weight takes some extended time to get used to especially if they are your first pair of studio quality headphones.
  • The only downside I felt, the weight on the ears was a bit heavier than my previous headphones, but I was able to adapt with time.
Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 SonicPro Over-Ear High-Resolution Audio Headphones, Black
  • Balanced weight, no manufacturing oddities
  • Good durability and flexibility
  • Aluminum casing around the drivers and metal headband look and feel impressive
  • Large adjustment range to suit different sized heads
  • Lots of creaking plastic when expanding headphones (everything except driver housing and slider is plastic)

What customers say about "Features"
Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Professional Monitor Headphones
  • The frequency response is fairly neutral and they have great dynamic range.
  • Audio comes through clearly and the different frequency ranges are well defined.
  • I am going to an extent of saying that these are the best sounding headphones I've ever used, and thanks to their low impedance, I can use them on my phone without sacrificing on anything.
  • With an impedance of 38 ohms you do not need a headphone amp to drive them.
  • Unfortunately, they do not come with 1.2 m cable like a big brother m50x, so you have to wear 3 meters one with you
  • Not for everyone. The sound is amazing throughout the entire spectrum but it is very flat.
Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 SonicPro Over-Ear High-Resolution Audio Headphones, Black
  • Earphones twist (the correct way, unlike QC25 which fold outwards if you are wearing them around your neck -.-)
  • Soundstage is impressively wide for a closed back headphone - all instruments and vocals have their own "space"
  • Reaches high and low: Good bass, mid and treble presence
  • Earpad depth is DECENT, some might look for a little more breathing room - ears are VERY close to drivers
  • Bass is not for bassheads or for anyone who is looking for dynamic bass response
  • Flirts with sibilance in the treble - what's this mean? S's sound a bit raspy and sharp
  • Earpads are not memory foam - they are soft, but why not make them even softer?
