What customers say about "Key Specs"
Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Automatic Dual Shot Espresso/Cappuccino System
  • Love the water reservoir so that I don't have to worry about refilling it every time I use it.
  • You can also use the machine to heat up water really fast if you want to make tea and don't wanna buy an electric kettle (although kettles actually boil the water in the same amount of time).
  • Large water reservoir when making several cups a day.
  • Noisy when on, so much so my dog barks while it's brewing.
  • Does not auto stop when cups are filled, so you must stand and watch it brew to turn off process at desired "coffee" level per cup.
Delonghi EC155 15 BAR Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker
  • It's pump driven so it makes coffee like the big boys (without the expense).
  • The espresso has a nice crema and it tastes good. My machine takes only a few minutes to warm up.
  • Stores a lot of water, so you don't constantly have to refill.
  • Very quiet and powerful pump. Heats up quickly and the steam wand is surprisingly strong!
  • Cannot heat up the steam and the water for espresso at the same time, leading to pauses between steaming milk and making espresso (espresso gets colder).
  • Makes a fair amount of noise while making espresso, but it's tolerable.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Automatic Dual Shot Espresso/Cappuccino System
  • Compact size, looks nice sitting on the counter.
  • The size fits well on my counter. It is not nearly as loud and shaky as the De'Longhi ECP3420 I sent back.
  • I like the size of the machine, not too big and dominating on my counter.
  • The machine isn't bulky enough to stay on my counter.
  • The finish is mostly cheap plastic and you're not going to impress anyone that sees it on your kitchen counter.
Delonghi EC155 15 BAR Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker
  • Small enough to fit under any counter.
  • It is small and light weight, doesn't take up too much room.
  • It is fairly light weight and easy to store in a cabinet which is what I do when it's not in use.
  • I found the machine to be of quality construction and I look forward to making my lattes every time.
  • Machine is very light-weight and vibrates during brew. (So much so that the cups rattle...)

What customers say about "Controls"
Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Automatic Dual Shot Espresso/Cappuccino System
  • I can adjust the proportion of milk and espresso to get just the right strength and taste; coffee from standard coffee makers is too light no matter what I do.
  • This is a manual machine, so you can easiely control the flow.
  • It's simple controls and user friendly design will quickly have most anyone making their own coffee drinks at home.
  • The controls are strange. There's buttons on the face you have to press in certain order, and there is a dial on the side you have turn up an down, in a certain order. It's okay once you've completed the learning curve.
  • The steamer doubles the volume of my milk by the time it's 100 degrees. The milk starts to bubble over the pitcher before it's even hot. There is no way to control the level of steam and prevent this from happening, so I usually just microwave my milk.
Delonghi EC155 15 BAR Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker
  • I like the simplicity of the control switch and really don't miss the automatic timer on pulling shots.
  • The steam control on top works very well and permits turning on and off for flushing before and after use.
  • It doesn't automatically control the Expresso amount so you can adjust the shot to your needs.
  • Small counter footprint, simple controls, superb quality coffee.
  • The wand is a little difficult to control, since you have to turn both knobs at the same time.

What customers say about "Features"
Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Automatic Dual Shot Espresso/Cappuccino System
  • You can use the frothing arm to warm up coffee or milk if you don't want to froth, since it releases hot steam.
  • Steam maker great for frothing milk.
  • A standard sized coffee cup will fit under the spout -- not so with many models!
  • The steam feature is simple, fairly powerful, and works well. No problems here.
  • The frothing arm could be a little longer, some frothing pitchers are tall and if you just want to froth/warm up a little bit of milk, the arm won't reach down too far so you have to fill up the pitcher with more milk than you'll use, which is a waste.
  • Too little clearance between the espresso spouts and the coffee tray for most coffee cups.
Delonghi EC155 15 BAR Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker
  • Pretty easy to clean and the tray is removable. This machine comes with two cups.
  • It comes with two sizes of coffee holders for either single or double shots and a little nook in the machine itself for whichever one you're not using.
  • It is soooo convenient that the water tank is removable, love this feature.
  • The drip tray, coffee handle and steaming tip are easy to clean, a rinse in hot water is all they need.
  • The "built in tamper" is a worthless piece of plastic. I bought Terry's Tamper and it works perfectly.
