Nice simple and sunlight readable speed distance bicycle calculator that's very light weight.
The controls are easy to use, have all the things I care about - ride time, trip distance, total distance, etc.
It does not have cadence but what it does have is simplicity. Just one button steps you through its 8 Functions.
If all you are looking for is a speedometer and a trip/total odometer, this is an easy to install, well-made choice.
Overall a very good product for the price, it gives you all the basic information you would want and is reliable.

Good bit of kit. Provides lots of necessary info and has large characters display for visual feedback with a really useful altitude sensor.
I had a difficult time finding a replacement for my VDO 1.0. I wanted a computer that would give me altitude information including slope. I do not need to know my heart rate or pedaling cadence.
The M4 does what I want. It is also very easy to check through different windows for different information and easy to reset altitude at the start of the day.
The altitude functions are slightly confusing to set up and the manual isn't much help. The ability to switch it between two bikes and keep track of each is useful so you can swap it between your road bike and mountain bike if you've two mounting kits.

I found it easy to install, and when I tried it out I was very pleased with the results.
Its very small size makes it nicely unobtrusive on the bars. It is plainly visible in daylight.
Display is clear in most lighting. Takes up very little space on the handlebars, fits the provided mount securely, and detaches with a 1/4 turn.
This computer has been through driving rain storms, blazing heat, a few falls, and most recently a full load of laundry, but it still works through all of this!
My husband loves the unit, it has nice sized readout and is very simple to operate. It's german made so it should last a long time.

It is also not straight forward to use and could be better programmed, more intuitive and less fiddly.
This may be due partly to the different settings on the size of the wheels but I followed instructions and checked several times.
In general this is a pretty useful computer with a nice clear display and easy to operate buttons, even with gloves on.
The instructions are tough, but internet search has a few videos that were very helpful. Easy to install and great to use.
The display never switches off. It will go in to a standby mode with the clock on but never off.

Battery life is also a good 3 yrs+. GREAT UNIT.
This thing does everything I need for it to do and more, and you need to only change batteries about once every two years.
It's not back-lit, so I wouldn't worry about the battery life (I'd guess that it lasts about as long as a wristwatch battery would).
Perfect for my needs and only uses one battery (had a wireless one that required 3 batteries - waste).

So far 4 months on the battery and still going strong.
The battery in my wired version is now 18 months old and it's got thousands of miles on it.
The battery doesn't last long. I'm getting at most 3 months use
