About the Product
This Marucci CAT 7 BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCBC7 is similar to that of the CAT 5 and CAT 6, only double the power! You are really going to scare some people if you come to the plate with this bat. Marucci has done a fantastic job of upping the ante from year to year and improving on an already masterful design.
The CAT8 -10 is a USSSA certified, one-piece alloy bat built with AZ105 super strength aluminum alloy meaning thinner walls, higher response rate, and better durability. The precision-balanced barrel features a ring-free multi-variable wall design that creates an expanded sweet spot, while the patented AV2 Anti-Vibration knob produces a better feel and less negative feedback.

What customers say about "Key Specs"
Marucci CAT7 BBCOR Baseball Bat
  • My son just moved up to HS baseball and had tried a few BBCOR bats and they all felt relatively dead compared to his old -5 USSSA stamped bat. When we tried this, he fell in love with the bat.
  • This bat is great. I have a 15yr old who is about medium height and 100 lbs and he can handle this bat fine. Switched from an old 32” drop 3 two piece bat because he was getting jammed a lot and it had a rubbber ring.
  • My son loves this bat. He just moved up the ranks and had to purchase a new bat. After all his research, he settled on this one. He says it's perfectly balanced and he has been getting hit after hit.
  • This has been a great bat for my 14 year old son. I have to say it has helped his batting and distance hitting.
  • My high school son loves this bat. He had the Cat 6 last year. Our only complaint is they did nothing to improve the quality of the paint on the bat.
Marucci CAT8 Senior League Baseball Bat
  • This bat is hot right out of the wrapper. Son loves it and now only wants to use his Cat8.
  • This is the best one piece youth bat we have owned. Great for high level travel ball.
  • The sound off this bat is amazing. Bought a 30/20 for our 9yr old. He loves it.
  • Nice pop right out of box. Older son uses Cat 7 for 2 years now. The bats hold up.
  • I bought this bat for my high school baseball player. He had always been a standout hitter, but really struggled at the plate this past season and complained about his bats not feeling balanced (end loaded), and felt "dead". So for his birthday he wanted a new (balanced) bat.

What customers say about "Features"
Marucci CAT7 BBCOR Baseball Bat
  • Best pop for your buck...balanced, single piece bat that's durable and can compete with any $450 bat out of the wrapper!
  • It has a nice ring to it when he hits the ball. Overall, a good value relative to more expensive and newer models.
  • Its a bat, it hits balls. I'll leave all this subjectivity about "pop" out of it. Nice grip. Grip swells at the knob a bit so if that isnt your thing, keep moving along.
  • We bought this bat for our son and he loves it. It has a great grip and fit our expectations.
  • The grip is great. This bat is loud! Inside pitches that used to barely jam him is not a problem anymore. The exit velocity of the baseball off this bat is a big improvement.
Marucci CAT8 Senior League Baseball Bat
  • Great bat great pop and it lasts. Highly recommend this bat
  • Good quality and service.product was as advertised
  • We started with tee work, then I threw him about 80 live pitches, and finished up with soft toss.
  • He said that although the bat was the same weight as his other bat and felt the same to hold... it felt lighter to swing (his words).
  • Damn thing broke before the season was over. Very expensive to just literally have the top pop off. Never again....
