What customers say about "Key Specs"
Andis AG2 Professional Animal Grooming
  • I can't begin to convey how wonderful these clippers perform. They have raving reviews for good reasons. My Chow mixes have heavy coats. I previously used 2 pairs of Oster clippers, one battery operated and the other corded. The Andis are so quiet by comparison.
  • I am beyond happy with these clippers. I have a Large Collie and he has blown through many clippers, the double speed is just what I needed! Saves me so much time! I still have another brand of clippers I use for my dogs feet and face but there was no way
  • I am able to get through his coat much faster now. The blade does not get too warm and it is very easy to lube up and brush out.
  • Have only used once on both of my dogs (maltese and yorkie). These work amazingly! I should have made the investment a long time ago. I am not an expert groomer so there is room to make it look like they just came from the salon but what a money saver this is going to be for me.
  • I invested in a size 4 blade instead of using the blade it came with, to allow for more of a puppy cut. I did watch a you-tube on how to switch the blades, as the directions were a little confusing and I wasn't doing it correctly.
Andis ProClip AGC2 Professional Animal Grooming
  • It can be difficult when reading reviews to make the decision right for oneself. I made the right decision with this. The discount provided for a much higher quality than I could get anywhere else.
  • I had been clipping my almost two year old Standard Poodle with scissors or taking him to a groomer every few months. I decided to try clipping him myself and I’m so pleased with the Andis AGC2.
  • As a first time DIY groomer, I was nervous about the whole experience, but these clippers worked like a dream. My husband and I cut my 5mo doodle's hair for the first time and after doing some prep work to orient him to the clippers' sound and vibration, this went much more smoothly than expected.
  • These clippers are wonderful! They did get warm, however, our first session with them has been spent cutting out some pretty good mats, so heat was expected.
  • My dogs fur is way too short and I’m not used to it. I don’t mind too much because it’s getting warmer but will not do it without attachment combs again. They do cut smooth and no nicks on my dog.

What customers say about "Features"
Andis AG2 Professional Animal Grooming
  • Today, I gave my 2 Pomapoos their first home-grooming service using these clippers; the clippers are medium weight with a long cord, which is nice; they run quietly, which is good for my nervous pups.
  • My pups have the coarse, thick poodle coat of their breed, but the clippers ran smoothly on speed #1. The blade does get a tad hot, so I took breaks in between clips and combed their hair until it cooled down.
  • First pair of heavy duty clippers I've purchased, and I'm glad Andis was my choice. It's quiet, and the 2 speed comes in really handy for trimming those pesky ears. I use it to shave the inside of my terrier's ears as well as the outside of his ears.
  • I only trim my Japanese Chin a few times during summer months. Worked great first use; my dogs coat was really thick and long; took a couple hours. End result looked nice ,can't speak for longivity of this razor but can tell its well made
  • I've been grooming for 30 years and this is the clipper I always return to. Yes it can be a pain to change out the blade drive assembly, but I find I do it a few times a year and it keeps everything running smoothly.
Andis ProClip AGC2 Professional Animal Grooming
  • The AGC-2 #7 blade did “warm-up” but was not hot to the touch and we never worried that it was too hot-I don’t think it’s possible to use any brand and not expect some sort of heat after 45 minutes of use. It’s light and easy to maneuver with a very long cord.
  • The cord is very long, so I have been able to cut him in many rooms of my house as well as outside without issue. It has two speeds to get through different lengths of hair and is quiet for a razor.
  • Generous long electric cord. Looks like they will last a long time. I assume these would be great for other mixed-breed poodles (labra, golden, etc.).
  • Nice long, heavy-duty cords. Treat these clippers right and they will last for many, many years with heavy use.
  • This is a very well made product. It only comes with a 10 guard, so unless you’re looking to clip your dog super close, you need to order another set of guards. The best part is it has a long cord and is extremely quiet.
