What customers say about "Key Specs"
Denon DRA-100SP hi-resolution sound source / Bluetooth / Airplay / network corresponding
  • Impressively layered sound
  • Overall experience is positive, sounds good and is very well made
  • The sound coming from this unit is unbelievable. It blows the Denon Ceol RCD-N7 out of the water on default settings with no EQ. (I used to have to tweak the EQ on the N& to make it sound good).
  • It's the detail and the depth, especially in the drums. They sound like real drums, they have that undefinable depth that a real drum would have.
  • The system exposes so much detail that I find I can't stop listening to my music to hear it in a new and incredible way.
  • I have experience with it's little brother Marantz MCR-610 and must admit, Denon's sound quality and finish is much better. However there are few flaws. Both of them suffer from slow response to the commands.
Denon PMA-50 Compact Digital Amplifier
  • The speaker amplifier has more than enough juice to power high-end speakers with low sensitivity.
  • I'm using ours to power a pair of Polk RTi-A3's with a Hsu research sub. The sound quality exceeds expectations.
  • I currently have a pair of KEF Q100 speakers hooked up to it. These are not highly efficient speakers but the PMA-50 seems to be able push them nicely.
  • The most impressive thing about this amp is that it is dead, clean silent. Between tracks or pauses in music, there is absolutely no noise or hiss.
  • There is also a source direct mode, but I find music sounds better when using the digital processor even with flat EQ settings.
  • Somewhat limited amplifier power
  • Started blipping and crackling after a month. Disappointed. Sent it back. Lovely looking unit and it sounded great until it became faulty.

What customers say about "Features"
Denon DRA-100SP hi-resolution sound source / Bluetooth / Airplay / network corresponding
  • DRA-100 has this very useless app for iOs and Android alike. It doesn't work through WIFI. No recognition of the appliance. Works well while wired but this is not what I expected.
Denon PMA-50 Compact Digital Amplifier
  • Superb Amp, everything I had hoped for and more. Running Sonos and a TV though it. Excellend sound quality and remote.
  • The remote is pretty bad and feels like a total after thought.
  • The unit exudes quality with integrated LCD display and metal construction.
  • The headphone amp has three settings for gain to compensate for different coil resistances in headphones which is an outstanding feature.
  • Feel not as premium as look in places

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Denon DRA-100SP hi-resolution sound source / Bluetooth / Airplay / network corresponding
  • I have mine linked up to some monitor Mudio Radius 90hd speakers and 2 rel T-zero subwoofers.. I have good cables and even a mains conditioner.. The sound is quite good..
  • Simple setup and operation
  • Good connectivity. Hi-Res support
  • Changing sources, choosing new station or another file both from NAS or USB stick takes a good while.
Denon PMA-50 Compact Digital Amplifier
  • Good USB audio capabilities. Has Bluetooth.
  • We're running ours in the living room with a tv sending signal via optical cable as a 2.1 configuration. We also have a Blu-Ray player connected as well. And we connect our smartphones and tablets to it as well
  • It provides great flexibility offering a lot of connectivity in a small package.
  • It has broad input support (bluetooth, 2 opticals, analog, coax and USB) and even supports NFC pairing.
  • My biggest gripe is that I wish it was wifi enabled rather than Bluetooth. This way we could likely use a remote app without the need of a device like a Pronto for controlling it from our phones.
  • The only thing missing for me was a phono preamp (I will use the analog inputs and a separate phono preamp for this).
