Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil
  • My Peterbilt (12.5 liter) may spend winters in north North Dakota and some hot months in Far South Texas. I'm pleased that the oil pressure is normal under these wide temperature swings. Buying ten gallons of this oil took some thought but I'm happy with the results.
  • This oil gets excellent ratings in used oil analysis. I used it in my '06 5.9 Liter Dodge Cummins turbo diesel truck. The 250,000 mile engine only consumed 1/2 quart of this oil over 6000 miles. As always, ensure this oil is appropriate for your car before adding it to the engine.
  • Oil is thin for easy start up and circulation, gets thicher when needed. This synthetic oil holds up better to the torture of the turbo
  • I have been using Mobil 1 product for more than 20 years. You will never go wrong with there product.
  • To rate the effectiveness or lubricity of this oil, the detergents it contains, etc. are beyond my capabilities. I have an '01 VW Jetta Diesel that I use this oil in. I can say that the engine is slightly quieter with this oil.
Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 Full Synthetic CJ-4/SM
  • This Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 Synthetic engine oil is both a quality product and very affordable for 4-stroke motorcycles which use 10w-40 conventional engine oil.
  • I run this oil in a 1994 Ninja ZX6E, 2012 KLX250S. Both run flawless. It provides amazing wet clutch shifting.
  • My ZX6E when I bought it had Mobil 1 10W-40 in it before and my 2nd gear often slipped a lot. I was worried big time I bought a junker. Swapped out the oil with some Rotella and well 2 years later that slipping never occured again
  • This oil completely stopped the cold start surging on my 2000 7.3 Powerstroke F350, even at below zero without being plugged in...
  • This oil does exactely what its supposed to do! Engine is quieter, runs smoother, and stays cooler.

Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil
  • I use this oil for my Lotus Elise because it is one of the few oils that still has high ZDDP (a zinc additive), and Lotus recommends a 5W40 weight. High ZDDP extends the life of engines that have high pressure sliding surfaces, which is more common in high compression engines.
  • use only this motor oil for our F250, great product, highly recommended and great price - thank you
  • Mercedes strongly suggests Mobil 1 and having a diesel the 5w-40 turbo diesel lubricant in my SUV is just one more thing NOT to worry about " THAT's A GOOD THING" :)
  • I own a 1998 one owner Dodge PU with the Cummins Turbo Diesel. I have used Mobil 1 for every oil change since it was new. It is a superior oil. I change my own oil.
  • I have a 2005 Silverado 2500 with LLY duramax diesel. I have used mobile 1 turbo diesel since new. I now have 351000 miles without ANY problems, truck still runs like new, I have original injectors and turbo, I change oil using vehicle oil monitor, usally at 10000 miles between changes .
Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 Full Synthetic CJ-4/SM
  • Rotella T-6 is a sleeper in the motorcycle world. I have run it in an XR250 dirt bike off road (which is a serious test of how it works in a wet clutch.), a Honda VFR800 sport bike and a Honda Shadow cruiser. Zero problems or issues of any kind.
  • Blackstone lab analysis showed a very good additive package and essentially zero wear after a hard run in the sport bike. This oil is JASO MA rated for wet clutches. The price is a bargain relative to "motorcycle oils". Being a 5W-40 this oil starts easier in cold weather than petro oils.
  • I have been using it in my Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT for some time with zero oil consumption, and on my oil pressure gauge it registers according to the Kawasaki shop manual spec regarding pressure.
  • Just bought a 2002 Kawasaki Concours motorcycle and the previous owner swears by this oil. Did some extensive research and online Concours forums questioning, this is THE stuff for improved cold starts, better shifting, and overall performance.
  • I have a bandit 1200 GSF Runs excellent with this oil with my wet clutch and its rated Jaso Ma. Great price.
  • This is an excellent product. I only took 1 star off; as I'm not sure why Shell is the only company that sells 4 quart (1 gallon) jugs. Most vehicles take between 4-5 quarts.
