What customers say about "Key Specs"
Yamaha YHT-4920UBL Home Theater in a Box System with Bluetooth
  • This Yamaha surround sound system was easy to setup and works nicely. It provides good sound for my modestly sized living room, and has all the inputs I need for my A/V components.
  • You've got to have HDMI inputs/outputs on your A/V receiver to experience good surround sound and sound quality. This system is great. No regrets.
  • The sound is extremely clear and crisp! The bass coming from the 8” 100 watt subwoofer is deep and you can feel it in your body!! Even without the subwoofer you can feel and hear the bass that come from the surround sound speakers!!
  • I bought this surround sound receiver for my daughter's room. So she could enjoy her movies and music. Sounds great
  • This AV receiver comes with all of the pieces necessary for a simple AV system. It was packaged very well.
Onkyo HT-S3700 5.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver/Speaker Package
  • The receiver is the gem of the setup. It makes good power, is fully featured, and easy to use. The heart of my main system at home is also Onkyo, and I can say that this is a better value per dollar (even though it does not compete in power or features, the fidelity is a good surprise).
  • This is a fantastic system when used for a PC speaker system. There are limitations to consider, and caveats as covered under other reviews. I already have an Onkyo TX-NR609 for my home theater, and wanted to try and replicate something smaller-scale, but similar, for my PC.
  • The receiver connects to anything, and you can exercise a lot of control using your phone or tablet, which is where I keep all my music.
  • At 110 Watts per channel this thing will get way louder than you'll need in most applications. The only complaint I have is that the speaker enclosures are made of plastic.
  • I had no problems with video/audio quality. I went ahead and bought the 16 gauge wire listed below. The speaker wire is connected using standard spring loaded wire terminals both on the speaker itself and the receiver.

What customers say about "Audio"
Yamaha YHT-4920UBL Home Theater in a Box System with Bluetooth
  • Sound is powerful and rich. Best home theater I've ever owned.
  • Surround Sound is awesome Easy to use. True to the Yamaha name.
  • I like this surround sound. It fills up my living room with good bass. Price wasn't too bad either...
  • This sounds great and is easy to setup as well as easy to adjust the channels to get optimal sound.
  • The 5.1 channel is crystal clear and maintains it's clarity even at High db levels.
  • The receiver seems too powerful for the speakers. Surround sound, even at optimal level, causes the speakers to give popping sounds.
  • Sound quality is nice but it randomly turns off when I turn the volume above about 25%.
Onkyo HT-S3700 5.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver/Speaker Package
  • The system works together very well, and evenly powerful. On a couple of my reference movies, I've been in awe of the good sounds coming through this budget-friendly system.
  • It will not blow you away with power and volume. It will, however, add clarity and definition to the sound and expose things you may normally have missed without the system.
  • Wish the center and subwoofer were a bit more powerful, and that it included longer and higher quality speaker wire.
  • The surround algorithms are very good, power is strong, and the sound is reasonably clear and balanced.
  • The front and surround speakers sound great but that sub is anemic. If the rest of the system wasn't so good, and at the right price, I'd only give it 3 stars because I definitely will have to buy a better sub.

What customers say about "Features"
Yamaha YHT-4920UBL Home Theater in a Box System with Bluetooth
  • Built in radio and great Bluetooth feature for listening to music from a phone or laptop.
  • There are tons of preset sound settings, and I like that the receiver has both an AM and FM radio.
  • The Bluetooth feature is was nice, making it easy to play media from your mobile devices.
  • All in all I'm very pleased with this. I've had it about a month now and I use it for at least a few hours everyday. Bluetooth is awesome. You typically have your phone on you anyways so why not pump some positive vibes throughout your home?!
  • The nicest option overall is the built in bluetooth. it was easy to set up and now when i enter my apt with bluetooth on it will automatically connect and start playing whatever i am listening to.
Onkyo HT-S3700 5.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver/Speaker Package
  • The amp has some extra features but I will probably never use them. I chose to go with this unit over the slightly more expensive unit because I didn't need the dock to plug my phone into.
  • The remote has tons of features on it which I probably will never use all of them lol. I researched systems a lot prior to this purchase and I think this system is the best value for under the $1000 mark.
  • The feature I really appreciate is the integrated Bluetooth receiver. Since I keep a huge portion of my music library on my iPhone, I was able to connect in seconds and play all my music directly through my home theatre speakers - a huge plus!
  • I love the bluetooth feature. Overall, its a good sound system with lot less bells and whistles.
  • Great sound and features. Only downside is it won't do AV to HDMI conversion.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Yamaha YHT-4920UBL Home Theater in a Box System with Bluetooth
  • System easy to set up and connect to the rest of my equipment. Sound is great and gives a good movie theater feel when watching movies.
  • This unit has plenty of inputs, more than enough wiring in the box to put your speakers anywhere you want, and it sounds great.
  • Love the fact that I can hook up to 4 different HDMI inputs that can be controlled with this receiver.
  • You've got to have HDMI inputs/outputs on your A/V receiver to experience good surround sound and sound quality. This system is great. No regrets.
  • For the price it is a great system. My tv only had 3 hdmi outputs so I couldn't hook up everything I had. This system uses has 6 ports which allow my to have my ps4, Xbox one, directv, chromcast all on one unit. It was great and the sound is great and clear.
  • I couldn't see the video in the HDMI output.
Onkyo HT-S3700 5.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver/Speaker Package
  • Our TV's own sound system had stopped working after a few years and was limited in the number of HDMI inputs, and the Onkyo HT-S3700 quickly solved both issues:
  • Love this for my Condo. Way better than any sound bars and allows to connect numerous inputs to the TV. I have other Onkyo receivers that are 7.2....but this is my first one with HDMI.
  • There are more inputs in the back of this thing than a human could ever use. The Bluetooth synced perfectly with my son's phone and Pandora.
  • Great system, sound in spectacular, I would have given it 5 stars if it had 2 optical audio inputs.
  • None of the HDMI inputs on this receiver support HDCP 2.2 encryption, and thus cannot pass through ANY 4k content from UHD Blu-rays, or ANY 4k streaming content from Amazon Video and Netflix, all of which require it
