Instant Pot DUO 60 Plus (9-in-1) 6 Qt Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
  • Excellent...quietly does it's job. Stainless steel inner, 6qt. Holds alot.works fantastic.
  • Good size capacity compromise, cooks foods fast.
  • Great so far. Perfect hard-boiled eggs. Cooked chicken chili verde in 15 minutes - starting with raw chicken! Awesome capacity.
  • We loved this at first but after about a month of use we are having problems with the lid sealing properly. We always put the lid on the same way, according to the manual instructions, and this has now happened twice.
  • The only problem I've had is with the silicon ring that seals it. It picks up flavors and is difficult to get entirely clean.
Instant Pot LUX60 (6-in-1) V3 6 Qt Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
  • Works great so far!!!! Capacity Large enough for a family of 5!!!
  • It has bigger capacity to cook with shorter time. and does not much higher than the price with similar capacity rice cooker.
  • The 6 quart capacity of the pot matches that of many slow cookers.
  • I’m still learning, but I’m very satisfied with it. I do wish I would have purchased a larger capacity pot.
  • It's hard to remove the odor from previous cooking. I removed the plastic sealing ring from the lid and washed both as thoroughly as possible, wiped the inside of the cooker body, and washed the inner pot of course, but it still remains.
  • The first 3 times I used it, I loved it. But by the fourth time, the lid seal was loose and fitting the lid onto the pot so it would seal was very difficult.
  • The six quart size is not really big enough for home canning.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Instant Pot DUO 60 Plus (9-in-1) 6 Qt Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
  • The size is definitely a huge plus. Construction quality is very high. The inner stainless vessel is really impressive quality.
  • The 6 quart is the perfect size for a family of 4.
  • Good size capacity compromise, cooks foods fast.
  • The 6 quart size is good for my family of four.
Instant Pot LUX60 (6-in-1) V3 6 Qt Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
  • I have not used all of the features of my Instant Pot but so far I love it. The size is perfect for one or two people. Easy to use and clean.
  • Good quality materials, and a very nice steel pot unlike most other brands.
  • A look at the reviews shows that these units are well-built, made with quality materials, and are made to last.
  • I bought this pot to replace a large oval Crock-Pot I was using for over a decade. Due to the lack of space in my current kitchen, I needed a more compact size.
  • A little work with a jig to hold the strain relief and a drill press allowed me to replace the power cord with one of better materials.

What customers say about "Control"
Instant Pot DUO 60 Plus (9-in-1) 6 Qt Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
  • Three new preset buttons - cake, egg, sterilize. It also had the yogurt function which other IP do, but not some of the other makes. Large LCD Screen with Digital Display.
  • So glad I got this model. Love the blue display and I don't have to scroll through every time with a dumb dial.
  • It has a big bright display, lights that let you know where you are in the cooking process, and way more features.
  • The display is really nice and clear. You can tell what function is being used and when pressure is set. The diagram on kid shows you what direction the "steam release" valve needs to be.
  • The control panel allows me to see just where I am in the cooking process which is wonderful.
Instant Pot LUX60 (6-in-1) V3 6 Qt Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
  • I used to sauté option which didn’t really let me control the heat (or maybe I just haven’t figured that out yet). It just got really hot so when I was trying to sauté onions in it, I had to keep adding water to keep it from burning at the bottom.
  • I've heard that some folks have been intimidated by the number of controls it has.
  • It does have safety valves, of course, but it seems to control the heat/pressure internally to remove need for periodic pressure releases.
  • The trouble with most electric cook pots these days is that they control temp. by either being on or off and not by being on at different levels. Nothing like a stove burner. All multi-pots are a compromise. Jack of all trades, master of none.
  • Now, I've pulled it out to make another meal, and the knob that controls the seal is broken. The valve is not working, and we cannot use it to pressure cook.

What customers say about "Features"
Instant Pot DUO 60 Plus (9-in-1) 6 Qt Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
  • Can use it on any surface, the bottom does not get very hot.
  • Has a ton of features, but like a microwave you just end pushing the +minute button for most things.
  • The yogurt feature- wow! I used to make it in my crock pot but it was tricky and I would often burn my milk during the "scald" stage. No more baby! It boils the milk for you and then maintains the correct incubation temperature for however long you want
  • It takes waaay longer to get up to pressure treated than my stove top pressure cooker. Like way longer.
  • It takes way longer to cool down than my stove top pressure cooker. Consequently it's pretty far from instant.
Instant Pot LUX60 (6-in-1) V3 6 Qt Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
  • The brown rice cooked very well with the "Rice" setting. I cook short-grain brown, and it made pretty chewy (my favorite way) with no adjustment.
  • It is quiet while pressure cooking. No hissing. It adjusts by itself so I have seen very little steaming out.
  • The Instant Pot has a feature which warns you & prevents you from burning items like oatmeal or rice. The Instant Pot has a digital display which is easier to use & understand.
  • I was hesitant getting this because I didn't need many features this thing had. I already have slow cooker and other pots and some reviews said that it spits hot water but I decided to give it a try again because of the stainless steel pot I figured in a long run it will save us money.
  • The safety features of the Instant Pot eliminate all of those concerns.
