What customers say about "Key Specs"
Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse
  • I like this mouse quite a bit, the buttons are in a perfect spot for my grip and the DPI levels are easy to change.
  • I like the FPS throttle button that raises your DPI insanely high for last minute head shot targeting.
  • A nice flow of buttons including one exclusively for swapping profiles (DPI). Hot swappable DPI is a game changer for first person shooters with a sniping mode.
  • I really like this mouse. Being able to adjust your dpi on it with three different settings to quickly change your dpi is very useful. The overall feel of the mouse is comfortable.
  • My only complaint is the scroll will is a little heavy.
Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse
  • This mouse can be used on MOST surfaces, with very few exceptions. First, the surface must be flat. Dips or bumps will affect tracking. Second, it can't be wet. Moisture can affect the sensor.
  • It has great pickup from the sensor. It can be used on marble and granite surfaces.
  • The Sensor: Feels accurate and doesn't seem to drop during more meticulous tasks at work. I didn't care enough to do detailed research on what specific sensor is under the hood on this mouse, but it feels accurate enough for my purposes and offers a wide range of DPI settings.
  • Sensor can be found in many mice so that's not exactly a point to make, but it is great. Batteries last forever in this and I never turn it off and always have it on performance mode. Has not messed up once.
  • The adjustable DPI buttons are often useful for gaming. As an example, when playing Overwatch I'll set my DPI rather high when using Junkrat but drop it nice and low for Widowmaker.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse
  • Great mouse, might be the best mouse. The ability to adjust the weight of the mouse makes it very nice to use.
  • I love this mouse. The weight is nice.
  • Includes weights for the mouse to set the drag to the level you like.
  • The mouse looks great and with the ability to add the weights I added (all 4 weights) I was able to get a mouse that handled well, felt sturdy.
  • Only downside is the right edge of the mouse needs a little more build out for big hands. It can cause a little cramping over long play sessions with hands my size.
Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse
  • I bought this for no other reason then the size. I have large hands and most mice are just too small. Even the ones that look or say their bigger just aren't big enough. This one is! It's longer then almost any mouse, has good height/depth, and is fairly wide as well.
  • For a person with regular sized hands, I definitely recommend this mouse. Logitech has produced another great product in this mouse. But for those with smaller hands, think twice before you buy and do not expect to be fully satisfied if you do.
  • The size is big. I think it's the biggest mouse I've ever used. But it fits my hand perfectly - my palm rests on top, instead of that awkward spider-like squat my hand performs on medium mouses.
  • Either the material has changed with use or my hand has adjusted its grip size for the mouse; probably the latter. The only problem is it is difficult to reach all 6 with out contorting your grip. There is also a hard/sharp plastic feel to them.
  • The biggest drawback for me was the size and shape. I wear size medium gloves pretty much in all types of gloves (winter, snowboard, latex, etc.) and with my palm at the base, my fingers only reach 3/4 of the way to the front.
  • I am warming up to this mouse now after having it for a few months. I came from a MX master and had a tough time getting used to the smaller size.

What customers say about "Connection"
Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse
  • The cord is braided so that is a plus but it is really long
  • It has a nice sturdy cord and feels rugged.
  • The braided cord is nice for extra durability
  • The cord frayed and kinked Mouse works well and Gand feel is good
  • Only complaint is the shroud around the USB cord.. Once bent it tends to hold that shape or bend until manually straightened out.
Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse
  • It's much more ergonomic, fits very nice in hand, battery lasts forever, there's 0 lag or connection pause even when coming form sleep mode.
  • The mouse is plug and play in that as soon as you connect the USB receiver, it allows you to use the mouse to at least download the software for more customization, unlike other mice where you cannot use the mouse until you install the software.
  • side from that there seems to be some wireless connection inconsistency. Some times the mouse feels laggy, maybe its due to my internet router sits right in front of it...
  • I have had no problems with connections dropping either. I think I would give this 4 or even 5 stars if it fit me, but it just does not.
  • That's how long I've owned this mouse. Now, all of a sudden, it has trouble maintaining a connection with the receiver at the back of my computer. Worked perfectly fine up until this point.
  • The receiver for this device is another story, unfortunately. Mine broke after 4 months of use. It's connection became spotty and eventually just stopped working outright. This was a bummer, as I really enjoyed using the mouse.

What customers say about "Features"
Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse
  • Software makes it very easy to customize every setting on the mouse
  • It's surfaces have real rubber where it counts, and the plastic components are easy to wipe off. Good riddance to plastic coated over with rubberized paint!
  • Just as described. Love the different options available with 11 programmable buttons.
  • Looks great, fast response, and programmable buttons, everything I need. Response, weight, colors, etc are all programmable.
  • The only thing that would have been great with this mouse is if the scroll wheel had rubber tracks like the G900.
  • Needed the extra buttons for War Thunder gaming, but buttons can't be programmed without downloading software from Logitech's site, which wasn't available more than half the time.
Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse
  • I love that I can program buttons to many applications or games, super handy. Also, very happy it doesn't look like something from an alien movie. This design is much better than other gaming monsters I've seen.
  • The software is good, and one of the main things that sets these apart is that the actual programming of the buttons can be stored on the mouse, so you don't need the software installed on the computer you're using once you program the buttons.
  • The added buttons are easy to program. I have mine set for previous and next tab.
  • The software is okay (UI is awkward and not clearly labeled for each button), I am a programmer so I can assign mouse buttons to copy, paste, page up, page down and the shortcuts for "go-to line" in my programming environment.
  • The optional button customization program is another bloatware FAIL from Logitech. As usual, it is a very large download, and PC resource-demanding for something that should be so light and dead-simple. It seems to be causing conflicts while left running.
