What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Harman Kardon Soundsticks III Multimedia Speaker System with Sub
  • The wires that are built in to the sub and pair of satellite speakers are really well built and great wire size with a silver braid around em, again not flimsy!
  • They sound great! Able to fill up a room the size of a 2 car garage nicely. They're great value for the price and I'd definitely choose these again.
  • Subwoofer is not overwhelming in size, fairly light in weight, allowing the set to easily be transported to a different area with ease.
  • These speakers put out a lot of sound for their small size.
  • The bases of the speakers are heavily weighted and rubberized, so they don't move at all.
Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified Computer Speaker System
  • For speakers the size of a brick, they generate awesome, even the commercials sound good.
  • Fills a full size room with plenty of sound and deep bass with a nice chest felt punch.
  • These units work great for their size and sound like something a lot larger.
  • These Klipsch are a compact but powerful set of speakers: crisp highs tight bass.
  • The sub is very compact and puts out some serious bass.

What customers say about "Audio"
Harman Kardon Soundsticks III Multimedia Speaker System with Sub
  • It does not distort at high volumes nor does it get in the way of the other frequencies at low volumes.
  • They do not distort at high frequencies, even at high volume, and the bass is not muddled. The highest frequencies are crisp and delicious taking your listening experience to the next level.
  • I gotta add that the volume controls on the speaker is touch sensitive!
  • The sub has great frequency response and delivers surprising rich, deep bass.
  • Although the initial presets are great, I recommend increasing the mid-level frequencies using your iTunes equalizer by a click or two.
  • I could easily complain about how certain frequencies are slightly off but honestly, nothing is perfect.
  • You can adjust the volume easily with the sensitive touch buttons on one of the satellite speakers, and mute it by touching both buttons at same time, but you don't know how high or low are they (for me is not a real problem but for people that need visual indicators should be).
  • Only downside is that there is a slight hissing on the left speaker, i think this is normal and is due to the high sensitivity of the speakers themselves, sometimes it's there sometimes its not.
Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified Computer Speaker System
  • The sub produces really nice low frequencies especially when watching movies, and I prefer this sub over the lows at the theaters I have been to, so far.
  • Good lows and mids the high frequencies are decent. Sound and build quality are great for the price.
  • There are actually micro horns in the small speakers that reproduce the high frequencies more accurately than the cheap tweeters in most small speakers.
  • Very wide range on the frequency response.
  • That little noise, not too loud and somewhere in the lower middle register, is the lowest frequency the satellites can handle before the sub kicks in, and the speakers are not designed to play that frequency with much regularity.

What customers say about "Features"
Harman Kardon Soundsticks III Multimedia Speaker System with Sub
  • Great sound for a 2.1 channel.
  • Hook it up is easy. Require one power outlet for the sub that's it.
  • The most striking piece of the set is the sub, and it's a powerful little guy considering its modest 20W power rating.
  • The speakers are easy to set up, using the basing 3.5mm interface (AUX cable).
  • Only thing so far that has made me irate..umm the 3.5mm cable is too short..its a struggle to plug my macbook into it and like sit comfortably i wish it was longer.
  • And whenever i unplug the 3.5mm jack from audio sources it makes a god awful wretched noise.
Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified Computer Speaker System
  • As soon as I powered it on, our living room was filled with vibrant and delicious sound.
  • It's loud, vocals are super clear, the bass is huge and powerful, can rattle the walls.
  • The speakers are heavy, and they are powered adequately.
  • With a little tweaking and a good input these things scream loud and clear for what they are.
  • The primary input cable is hardwired to the speakers, but you can purchase a separate 3.5mm cable if you want to plug a secondary input into the system (next to the headphones out port, labeled with the music note in the picture).
