What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Audioengine A2+ Black
  • Speakers have some weight to them and I was just hoping that they sounded as good as they were shipped
  • They are a nice small size that makes them great for computer speakers.
  • A2+ are decent speakers, especially for their size.
  • They are a fantastic size that fits on my desk without taking up too much space, and they look great
Bose Companion 20 Multimedia Speaker System
  • I was surprised by the size and weight. Larger and much more substantial than you normal computer speakers. These are true full range speakers.
  • These speakers have a wonderful heavy weight to them, but are highly portable.
  • The metal construction gave it a very nice feel and had good weight to it as well
  • The quality becomes especially apparent when you feel the weight and heartiness of the build.
  • It was a little bulky to fit in a backpack, but I managed.

What customers say about "Audio"
Audioengine A2+ Black
  • Boom!!! My computer configured them and I went to my music collection and started to listen. Huge sound from these speakers, crisp and clean. I bought these to replace a sub-woofer system and I am not sorry.
  • Exceptional sound quality and volume for such a compact size
  • They sound absolutely fantastic, it's the first speaker to really blow me away in terms of the sound. It's a very balanced, full, rich sound. I don't even need a sub, because I mainly listen to classical which isn't as bass heavy.
  • I was expecting it to blow me away looking at the build quality, however, they sounded average.
  • For the money they don't sound that great. They are incredibly "tinny" and full of mid range, even when trying to EQ them with an external equalizer they still just sound off.
Bose Companion 20 Multimedia Speaker System
  • These Bose Companion 20 multimedia speakers are amazing, great quality sound. They are easy to adjust the sound or use ear buds if you need to
  • These really do sound good. I have an apartment so a sub woofer is not really desirable.
  • The sound quality of these small speakers is amazing! I've tested them with different types of music. They're best for rock, jazz, and classical music but I think they have a plenty of bass when playing hiphop/rap music despite a lack of subwoofer.
  • The high end sounds screechy and tinny while the low end keeps overpowering the other frequencies
  • The sound lacks the natural warmth, I can't believe the 5 star reviews for this product!

What customers say about "Features"
Audioengine A2+ Black
  • Build in USB DAC, excellent build quality, beautiful gloss white exterior, clear highs, auto off/standby feature
  • Easy to connect, USB goes to PC, power, and then each speaker connects to the other.
  • Very versatile; high quality construction; multiple quality inputs w/ variable output for sub or additional devices
  • Rear volume knob (it keeps the front looking clean, but a front knob would have been more user friendly)
  • Hissing noise when I tried to connect more than one device (PC via USB and PS4/Mobile via AUX) at the same time. Despite that it has 3 always active input (RCA, aux, and USB)
  • The volume controller location is not comfortable (yet it fit the clean design)
Bose Companion 20 Multimedia Speaker System
  • The control pod is very well made. It has a nice weight to it and a non-skid backing so it stays put.
  • The volume control works very smoothly with a solid feel. I'm especially fond of being able to turn the speakers on and off by just touching the control pod.
  • The input jack allows for quick easy input from other sources (like an ipod)
  • The headphone jack (which automatically cuts out the speakers) makes for quick and easy consideration of folks in the house (and speaker power is great enough that if you want to share with the rest of the house, you can)
  • No wireless remote controller for volume controll
  • The on-off-volume controller is very nice but I wish it was wireless
