What customers say about "Key Specs"
Monoprice M1060C Closed Back Planar Magnetic Over-Ear Headphones
  • They are just awesome and produce such amazing sound.
  • I warn you, they sound so great especially at high volumes.
  • Love the wonderful sound of these cans however.
  • Sounded good for gaming very good imaging. Really nice Bass.
  • Can’t say enough good things about how these sound for gaming. Amazing low end!
Monoprice M1060 Over Ear Planar Magnetic Headphones
  • Open Headphones with Planar Magnetic Drivers. Rich, Clean, Beautiful. No complains about the sound.
  • Very good. Impedance is pretty low, so you can drive these with a phone. Bass response is relatively good for a PM.
  • The M1060 does sound fantastic especially for “old music” like jazz and blues.
  • Sound is just amazing, my daily drivers are Fostex TH900 and I haven't felt that M1060s were missing something.
  • The biggest upgrade is the base its so good and detailed and louder with out sacrificing the midst and treble.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Monoprice M1060C Closed Back Planar Magnetic Over-Ear Headphones
  • I was worried about the weight when i picked them up but the weight honestly melts away when on my head no issues at all.
  • They call a lot of attention to themselves. I like this size on my head.
  • I dont want to wear them longer than 30 mintues due to the pressure headaches and pain on one spot on my head.
  • A bit heavy on the head and for some, causing overly warm ears after prolonged listening sessions.
  • Too much movement and they will slide off of your head very easily.
Monoprice M1060 Over Ear Planar Magnetic Headphones
  • The M1060 very comfortable on my head and many times I used for more than 3 hours watching movies.
  • As for comfort, the Monolith’s immediately found their place on my rather large head.
  • The headband digs into my head after a while almost to the point of being painful.
  • I have a large head and as a consequence the headband applies the entire weight of the headphones to one point on the top of my head.
  • I wish the headband distributed the weight of the headphones across the head more evenly.

What customers say about "Features"
Monoprice M1060C Closed Back Planar Magnetic Over-Ear Headphones
  • They also have a neat feature of having a detachable cord.
  • The cord actually plugs into each can which is a nice feature especially.
  • If you damage the cord you can just replace it. Awesome feature.
  • The wide Soundstage allows you to hear the music as it was meant to be heard with a warm but widely dynamic sound.
  • Tested with several computers and smartphones playing lossless music (mostly FLAC), to DAC/AMP Centrance HiFi M8, to these headphones.
Monoprice M1060 Over Ear Planar Magnetic Headphones
  • I never felt the need to enable any Tube emulation features, or bass boosters, or anything like that. Perfect headphones.
  • Air-flow is quite good for leather/leatherette, enabling longer listening sessions.
  • Cabling, while not as thick as you'd probably like to see on a higher-end headphone, still feels of good quality.
  • The cups are deep and thick, very comfortable to wear for several hours of listening.
  • The jack that comes with is garbage and would drop left any time i moved so i just used another.
