About the Product
Grado Labs developed our proprietary SpaceBlack Polycarbonate to absorb stray sonic vibrations. Those unwanted secondary impulses can 'muddy' the sound, and we're all about purity. The SR125e uses ultra-high purity long crystal oxygen-free copper voice coil wire, and an eight-conductor cable.
Let your spouse know you honor fidelity, give them a pair of Grado SR225e headphones to enjoy their favorite music the way it was meant to be heard. Our traditional open-back design features enhanced airflow through the rear metal grill.

What customers say about "Features"
Grado SR125e Prestige Series Wired Open-Back Stereo Headphones
  • Midrange is the strongpoint with them and plenty of bass for me personally.
  • Even with clamping force, these cushions do not have much grip on your ears.
  • Loosening the headband will help by reducing the clamping force of these cushions on your ears.
  • If you have sensitive ears then you might not like these headphones because the stock ear pads are quite uncomfortable.
  • If you have big ears, you need big cups! Period, you need larger pads.
Grado SR225e Prestige Series Wired Open-Back Stereo Headphones
  • The L-cushions increase the intimacy further, providing additional clarity and making details in the music are easier to hear.
  • Aftermarket cushions are inexpensive and there are many options.
  • Since they are open-back, I never get accused of shouting while playing as I can actually hear myself.
  • The infamous drawback of the L-cushions is their comfort.
  • That's not as comfortable as the S-cushions, which I can wear for more than 2 hours without issue, but it is bearable.
