What customers say about "Key Specs"
Oculus Go Standalone Virtual Reality Headset
  • There is no positional motion detection but the tilting and turning is more than enough to make most games and experiences very fun and engrossing.
  • No motion sickness because you can't move in it like a Vive. Great for watching movies, 360 videos, simple gaming, and social media.
  • I was not disappointed! I first tried some high-motion videos, like a roller coaster and aerial skiing, both of which gave me some motion sickness.
  • Many of the games are more like cartoons (animated). But motion sickness is definitely an issue with this headset. I never experienced that with the Rift or Sony!
  • The head motion tracking is stunning. The video resolution and interactions with the browsing app are less than I desire.
Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Headset
  • Its a great product.
  • Warning to anyone afraid of heights! It seems real! Also have to avoid the games with fast movement because I get motion sick, but I love most of the games!
  • The games like Rec Room are probably better when you have 360 sensors, but I've not bought the 3rd sensor for 360 gameplay.
  • The sensor worked well. I wish there was a way to set my screen in any orientation I wanted. IE calibrate the screen for sideways viewing especially for beds since my room was a BED-room.
  • I think that you need to add more movement to the VR to get a better sense of immersion, similar to the HTC Vive with room detection.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Oculus Go Standalone Virtual Reality Headset
  • It is friction-less VR at its best. I didn't need a laptop or have to insert a phone to get started. Oculus Go is also very comfortable to wear.
  • It was much more comfortable than Google Cardboard and so much cheaper than devices that require high-end phones.
  • The headset is comfortable right out of the box, but it does require some occasional re-positioning the longer you wear it. It fits well, and is easily adjustable.
  • It's comfortable to wear sitting up. Lying down on your back is a little more difficult.
  • The device is not too heavy, and with the included straps it fit comfortably and securely on my face.
Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Headset
  • Now ive read alot about glasses problems. I wear glasses and i can say that I have no issue with using the oculus. I have a smaller head and wear kid size glasses though.
  • Sound is actually quite good for it's size, so no need to use a headphones and that simplifies usage a lot.
  • VERY well built for such a delicate device.
  • Can only take an hour or so, after head and eyes starts to hurt

What customers say about "Features"
Oculus Go Standalone Virtual Reality Headset
  • This headset is rocking a LCD display and not a OLED which means is is not as reactive as other OLED headsets like the regular rift and vive and might have slight motion blur.
  • The speakers: Sound much better than expected. It's clear, has enough bass in it considering their size. It sounds better than expected. I don't even need to use earbuds (unlike Lenovo's)
  • The battery life is subpar, but I overcame this by velcrowing a 5200mAh powerbank to the rear head strap.
  • It is fun to use. I am glad its mobile. I wish the battery lasted another hour. You get 2 hours of use for 3 hours of charging. So, choose your use wisely.
  • The only negative is the battery drains fast. Get get about 2 hours of continual use before you have to recharge.
Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Headset
  • Sound quality is very good.
  • It fits almost perfectly, you can customize it so well.
  • Limited VR software availability, and what there is, well much of the software is only of passing interest.
  • Setup was easy, using the Oculus store is intuitive and the free apps can fill your first day experimenting.
  • The image was blurry and poorly resolved in just about all the positions I tried wearing it. Ghosting was pretty noticeable. Glare was also an issue.
