What customers say about "Key Specs"
Sony WF-1000XM3 Noise Canceling Truly Wireless Earbuds
  • Excellent noise cancellation, good ergonomics, great sound, strong battery life.
  • Any reasonable person will have no issue with battery on these. I have worn them for multiple hours at a time and the battery has not even dipped below 70%.
  • The sound quality, noise cancellation, battery life, and features of the WF-1000XM3 are incredible.
  • Really good audio quality, fast connectivity, great battery life, classy look.
  • The right side was draining much faster then left side. They were at 70% to 95% of left side. This is a real problem on longer flights.
Sony WF1000X Wireless Headphones
  • Battery life is decent though. I'm ok with it. You can't expect all day battery life in such a small form factor.
  • They have a great fit and are quite comfortable. I love not having to deal with a cord on the back of my neck!
  • Excellent sound for such a small audio driver, very loud, very punchy.
  • The sound quality when both earpieces were working was good when standing still or sitting, but when walking, a low frequency rumble could be heard on both sides.
  • There are a lot of frequencies these just don't handle well, and the "absolute" level of noise canceling was also rather poor.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Sony WF-1000XM3 Noise Canceling Truly Wireless Earbuds
  • The noise canceling is the best feature and it’s amazing how powerful these things are in their compact size.
  • Small and compact, these also permit pairing with more than one Bluetooth unit.
  • In terms of looks, I find it to be a classy look. It definitely doesn't look bulky, (like an oversized bug sitting in your ear) and it feels light weight, being overall comfortable.
  • I really like how they are light weight and can be used in any situation: running, working out in a gym, working in the office, chilling at home.
  • While they are light, extended wear does cause some discomfort.
Sony WF1000X Wireless Headphones
  • The holder that doubles as a charger is nice and slim too. Small enough to keep in your pocket.
  • Carrying/charging case is a good size to put in a pocket with a phone.
  • Very stylish and perfect size. Good sound, noise cancelling works well.
  • Its good with respect to size & quality of sound. Noise cancellation wasn't really as good.
  • I was truly impressed by the size and great sound. The app is ok. I wish there were the ability for custom EQ.

What customers say about "Features"
Sony WF-1000XM3 Noise Canceling Truly Wireless Earbuds
  • Sound quality is flat and natural, and easily adjusted if desired with the Sony app. It was, subjectively, more detailed than the previous model.
  • Sound quality is gorgeous, especially if you select sound quality vs. connectivity (set through the app).
  • The reception sound quality is great. The mic sound transmission is choppy--people keep telling me it's hard to hear me and the sound is inconsistent.
  • The touch controls are a little bit fiddly, they are actually perhaps a little too sensitive.
  • The Sony iPhone headphone app doesn't consistently connect to the earbuds.
Sony WF1000X Wireless Headphones
  • The sound quality is quite good. Noise canceling on transit and when walking around outdoors is really good.
  • When indoors, I experienced a very solid connection, even when walking away from the phone.
  • I liked being able to control playback (play/pause, fast-forward, rewind) directly from the headphones.
  • Noise canceling is present, but weak. Volume on the right (slave) earbud was often different from the left.
  • You have to start up the app on your phone every time you turn on the headphones to get it to work (or at least I do).

What customers say about "Power"
Sony WF-1000XM3 Noise Canceling Truly Wireless Earbuds
  • The case is not a burden in a reasonable pocket. It easily provides three or so recharges.
  • Toss them in the case for a quick charge and you are back on the go.
  • Battery life is really good and haven't had any issue through out the day. Fast charging too.
  • They quick-charge from the charging case nicely, going from zero to 70% charged in a surprisingly short time.
  • 3 hours into the flight, I was getting notice that the battery was low. Had to take them off to charge.
Sony WF1000X Wireless Headphones
  • Battery time is a little short at 3.5 hours but the portable charging case can recharge them 3 times before running out of juice.
  • Case for recharge copes with its tasks. He quite quickly lets me listen to music again.
  • Battery life sucks, no way around it, but personally it's not a big deal for me because I use them for 1-2 hrs at a time and then I just put them back in the case to recharge.
  • Battery time is short. You won't want to travel any great distance with these.
  • They’re not that loud, battery lasts about an hour and a half on full volume. 3-4 recharges and the whole thing is dead.
