What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Klipsch R-120SW Subwoofer
  • It's surprisingly boomy for its size, most likely due to the port. If you want a reasonably priced subwoofer to usher you into the realm of high fidelity sound, this is it.
  • This is small, and that is awesome for those looking for a small sub.
  • This sub is very cute, very small and has much better sound than the Polk.
  • This sub is small and should easily fit into a corner.
  • Easy to set up and the sound is fantastic, but it's very heavy duty.
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
  • This subwoofer definitely rattles my medium-size room and is without a doubt, the BIG DAWG of my 7.1 system and so for me, definitely worth the price.
  • This is a large-ish sub, but I wouldn't characterize it as a monster. It didn't seem unduly heavy, nor did it take up much more room than the 10" Infinity it replaced.
  • The wife was scared of the size but now agrees that it for movies and music it is great .
  • It is large, but actually compact, considering its output and the kind of company it keeps.
  • Very nice sound for movies. This a large heavy subwoofer that is pretty cumbersome though.

What customers say about "Audio"
Klipsch R-120SW Subwoofer
  • Plugged it in, tuned it for the room and overall volume, works great with heavy lows.
  • The subwoofer is powered by its own 400 watt all-digital amplifier so it is independent of the receiver to which it is connected.
  • The dynamics of each frequency became so obvious with this subwoofer added to my system.
  • The response is quick and clean, the low frequency roll off does exactly what I want and where to happen and for a little front firing, rear ported, 10”.
  • This sub has a noticeable dropoff in volume on ultra low frequencies too.
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
  • This is ported in the front, and has 600 max watts. This subwoofer FILLS my living room with RICH, HEAVY, and PHENOMENAL bass.
  • I'm so impressed with the quality of this subwoofer, and in the quality and volume of bass it creates.
  • Hands down, I'm ecstatic about this subwoofer. Don't think twice, buy this subwoofer. You'll be happy you did, trust me! Huge bass!
  • I'm really liking this sub so far. Really clean tight sounding base. I've had several subs over the years but this is much better.
  • I've only had this for one day, so far so very very good. Looks and sounds great.

What customers say about "Features"
Klipsch R-120SW Subwoofer
  • Controls are available for gain and impedance. I adjusted these once and left it alone.
  • It also has ports and controls to adapt to almost any sound system.
  • The volume and frequency knobs turn nicely and feel solid. The copper driver is gorgeous, just as a bonus.
  • Auto on/off feature so it does not use as much electricity when not in use.
  • Not sure if this is a fake speaker or they don't have quality control in their factory. It's like they didn't sand or smoothen the wood before painting.
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
  • The setup is undramatic, if you've dealt with subs before. Gain, crossover, phase, on/off...neither more or less difficult than expected.
  • The driver has a serious look - a thick rubber surround, a metallic cone, and a large slot-vent.
  • Fit and finish is awesome. I personally really like the wrap on this sub. It looks and feels like brushed aluminum.
  • With the powerful 300W amplifier, I only had to set the gain halfway (50%) in order to match my Polk RTi A9 front tower speakers.
  • This sub looks beautiful and it's way more powerful than the rear-ported R-12SW / R-120SW.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Klipsch R-120SW Subwoofer
  • It attaches to your receiver/amp via the normal single RCA cable.
  • The product was packaged really well considering how heavy it is. It was really easy to set up with my existing system, and sounds great.
  • The output can be adjusted by setting the LOWPASS (LP) crossover point knob and the level knob.
  • If there is no dedicated subwoofer port on the receiver being used then it can be connected to a pre-amp stereo output using two RCA cables.
  • The R-120SW provides an RCA INPUT which is a tremendous advantage when connecting my MacBook to the bookshelf speakers and the sub.
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
  • This thing is a massive beast. Pair these up with any hi fidelity system and the bass will blow you away!!
  • This SW perfectly complements my new RP-450C center, RP-240S surround sound, RP-140SA rear, RP-260F floor speakers and Yamaha RX-V779.
  • I have them connected to a Marantz SR7010 AVR. The crossover is at about 100hz and I have the gain set to about 1/2 right now......it's amazing!
  • The subwoofer is perfectly connected to my speakers, the sound is just a masterpiece!
  • Poor grounding. Emits a loud hum even when disconnected from the AVR. It becomes even worse when an audio cable is connected.
