What customers say about "Size & Weight"

                               Leatherman Sidekick Multitool (831429)
                                       - Most importantly (for me at least)I like that it fits in the small pocket (lighter pocket) of every pair of jeans that I own (having to use a belt sheath bothers me).
- Good tool and a slightly lighter weight to take on camping or backpacking trips has everything you would need to make repairs in those situations it is what you would expect from leatherman very durable.
- The weight in my pocket does not seem to be any more than the folding knife that I normally carry. I'm sure it is heavier than a knife, but the width of the tool spreads the weight out. Seems that way to me anyway. I really like this tool.
- The tool is not light weight for its class, but that means it's strong. Everything else is well-machined and built with quality.
- The Sidekick has a good selection of knives and tools and the design is very firm and has a good weight to it.
Leatherman Wingman Multi-Tool (832464)
                                       - Use it daily, good quality, and fits in my pocket comfortably.
- The scissors are on the small size but expected due to the portable nature of the tool.
- This is an excellent multitool in most respects: portable, strong, easy to maintain, and the individual tools mostly work well.
- It was thinner than my original, thus was able to fit in my pocket easier and more portable.
- That being said, I was in the market for a replacement multi-tool but was looking for something a little more portable since the Blast, though well-made and sturdy, was a little bulky and required the included leather holster which somewhat clashed with my khaki and Polo office attire.

                               Leatherman Sidekick Multitool (831429)
                                       - Spring-loaded pliers/wire cutters. It's really nice to not have to manually open the tool jaws when you're working on something.
- Much more ergonomic handles. Squeezing something really hard with the PST can be uncomfortable; the Sidekick has rounded edges that are much easier on your hands.
- Larger pivot point for the jaws and heavier wire cutters. Seems like it'll hold up better than the PST; mine had loosened up to the point that cutting wire below 12ga was nearly impossible.
- Locking blades is a nice touch. I've nearly cut myself using my PST when the blade has folded up unexpectedly.
- Not a fan of the metal finiNot a fan of the metal finish. Brand new it is scratched up. My old one was a nice flat finish that was flawless even 6 years later.wless even 6 years later.
- The lanyard clip doesn't strike me as something that would last and I believe it would catch on cloth.
- The sheath might be good for some applications but a belt sheath would be a lot better for me.
Leatherman Wingman Multi-Tool (832464)
                                       - This is a gorgeous multitool, and I love both the look and FEEL of the black version. I've had the stainless steel version for years (I often go back-and-forth between the Wingman and the Sidekick in my daily carry) and this is a definite upgrade.
- The knife has all the same tools and features I love in the original Wingman, but with a much finer finish to the casing. For me, this knife is the perfect combination of tools for any situation.
- Great multi-tool to have around. All tools work as designed to do and I cannot find any complaints after having this multi-tool for few months now.
- It suits my needs just fine. :) There are some tools I haven't used yet but I'm sure they work just fine. :)
- Minor gripe is that the user experience of the scissors could have been improved if it was spring loaded. Otherwise it works great.
- Returned because handle-tool set up was uncomfortable to use.
