What customers say about "Key Specs"
ECHO PB-580T Backpack Blower
  • This Echo backpack blower packs some serious power. It's in their mid-to-upper range for engine displacement and performance, with a 58.2 cc two-cycle engine. Air speeds at the nozzle are up to 215 MPH, with 510 CFM output.
  • After doing research on multiple brands, choosing this Echo was a no-brainer. 215MPH @ 510CFM EASILY handled the massive amount of leaves dumped by our trees.
  • It was cheaper than the Husky and had a higher wind speed, 215 vs. the Husky 180. So I made the purchase. This thing is incredible! It moves everything, soaking wet leaves, sticks, acorns, small animals and children don't stand a chance. It will move them.
  • This blower does the job. Easy to start, plenty of wind speed to move the leaves where you want them.
  • Its not a commercial blower, but it should have lasted more than 2 years.
  • The issue is that after about ten minutes running at full speed suddenly it starts acting like the chock is on or its running out of fuel.
Husqvarna 150BT 50.2cc 2-Cycle Gas Backpack Blower
  • Engine starts at the second or third pull every time. High air volume and speed.
  • On idle speed this product is more powerful than several electric blowers I've had.
  • This leaf blower did a great job for leaves in the yard and sweeping a lot of dirt and sawdust out of my driveway.
  • This blower is also remarkably quiet compared to others we've had/used over the years. This thing can do some serious leaf blowing.
  • Disappointed in the power. Fairly Easy but awkward to start. I am worried that the plastic is starting to wrap from the heat of the engine.
  • It does not have the blowing mph and this brand does not seem to have the power. I have owned others and been amazed but not this brand!

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
ECHO PB-580T Backpack Blower
  • I have used many other backpack blowers. None come close to the power or comfort of the PB 580t. Once I put it on I barely knew it was there. The fan motor kept my back cool and the weight was distributed.
  • Best purchase I've made in a while! great power! not that bad in weight!
  • I was concerned about the weight , because I'm tall and slender, but the weight was no problem . After wearing it for a little while , I got so use to it , it felt weird to take it off !
  • I heard the weight was a lot. I don't think so. Once it was on my back I hardly felt it.
Husqvarna 150BT 50.2cc 2-Cycle Gas Backpack Blower
  • I am 120 pounds and its weight is not to heavy on me. It can be used comfortably for over an hour at a time with no problems.
  • Light weight easy to use and I will blow anything not tied down.
  • Easy to handle. Easy to start. Light weight.
  • Hard to hold backpack when starting.

What customers say about "Features"
ECHO PB-580T Backpack Blower
  • Despite all that power, it only clocks in at 70 dB, which is quiet enough to operate comfortably without hearing protection.
  • I like having an adjustable throttle as a trigger - - however it also has a full open feature if you are constantly blowing.
  • Super powerful something I wasn’t expecting is when you are blowing air circulates around your back to keep it cool. An awesome feature!
  • This product works great . I like the feature of the back cooler. I look forward to using this blower as summer comes on.
  • The only con is its a bit clumsy getting it on my shoulders then maneuvering the blower tube to get started.
Husqvarna 150BT 50.2cc 2-Cycle Gas Backpack Blower
  • Comfortable, has waist strap, wish it had a chest clip to keep shoulder pads together.
  • This is a nice leaf blower! It starts easily, and the backpack can be adjusted to fit my husband well, but also adjusted to comfortably fit me.
  • It has a good supportive belt along with shoulder straps, all fully adjustable.
  • The unit is reasonably comfortable -- feels like carrying my work laptop backpack -- and the trigger handle has a "cruise control" lever that maintains air flow.
  • Blower hose not long enough for my 6'4" frame, end of tube is about 2' off the ground
  • Noise is loud enough you'll definitely want to wear hearing protection.

What customers say about "Power"
ECHO PB-580T Backpack Blower
  • I used it for about 45 min, and had only used half of the fuel in the tank. That seemed pretty efficient seeing how I was at full speed about 75% of the time.
  • The power is enough for heavy wet leaves and the backpack allows you to use it for long periods of time without wearing you out.
  • Starts within 2 pulls. The tank holds about a full gallon of fuel---great it you are using in a commercial setting but would probably suggest only filling half way for home use just to minimize the additional weight when it's in limited use.
  • Like the tank, fuel last . cleared over an acre without refueling
Husqvarna 150BT 50.2cc 2-Cycle Gas Backpack Blower
  • Big gas tank, good for 3+ hours on full.
  • It is a gas sipper. I can blow for about an hour with one full tank at full throttle. Just outstanding. By that time, if you are not done, you need a break anyway.
  • Very easy to start, very powerful and does not use much gasoline. I was able to use it for a little less than an hour and it only used up half a tank which is about half a gallon.
  • This is a great blower lots of power. It is light and easy to use. it was pretty easy to put together. i had it out of the box and was blowing leaves in less than 30 minutes.
  • A very powerful, very effective leaf blower. It moved large quantities of leaves, even when damp or covered in frost.
