  • Weight of this unit isn't bad but the overall size make it a little bit more difficult to move around than say a table top saw.
  • Very portable and light weight. Accurate fence.
  • Works great. Light weight. Sometimes it rocks some when trying to rip a 4x8 sheet of plywood yourself
  • It's light weight and plastic base allow for much easier transportation (my 64b takes two strong backs to even pick up and move...the Bosch takes one hand).

  • The Bosch blade that it comes with was removed and replaced with a Freud. The saw cut like a hot knife through butter and I am very pleased with the overall performance. The miter gauge is a little sloppy in the miter tracks.
  • The fence is square to the blade, and is rock solid, as long as you make sure the nut at the back of the fence is set right.
  • t comes with a 40-tooth blade which is fine for ripping; if you plan to do woodworking that requires a cleaner cut be sure to buy an appropriate blade. Blade installation is simple.
  • Fence is extremely accurate. I usually verify with a tape to ensure cut is square from front to back of fence, but more often than not this step is unnecessary.
  • Con....the table is a bit small giving you roughly 8" from the edge to the blade to work with. I made a crosscut jig for it for my box joints. but could realistically only make it 6" wide.

  • The R4510 has a split blade guard for bevel cuts, spreader/riving knives, push stick, and anti-kickback pawls.
  • Cutting mostly softwoods; pine, which the saw handles with ease. The fence rule (mounted tape measurer)works like a charm - - and is accurate down to 1/64 of an inch.
  • I recently cut a 3/4" dado in over 400 board foot of wood for a fence and this saw plowed through it with no difficulty!
  • The Miter gauge is pretty precise and it allows for the atachment of a miter fence which is nice for cutting off-angled miters with little, if any, tear out.
  • I tried cutting a 2x4 and the blade would torque to the side, So I rechecked the fence and the blade tried cutting a piece of MDF with the same results the blade would torque to the side and bind up.
  • The portable stand works very well. However, the throat plate was concave to the blade. This's prevented the accurate cutting of small stock because the stock would rock when cutting.

  • Very good dust collection. A Craftsman shop vac is all I have connected to the dust port and I'm fairly happy with this saw's ability NOT to kick wood dust back up into the air.
  • I also love all the safety features - riving knife, anti-kickback pawls, large easy-to-reach power button, nice push stick, and a dust collection port that is positioned out of the user's way.
  • Features are clever including the fence measurement gage when the right table is extended.
  • The safety features are so easy to install on and off, there is no reason not to keep them in place.
  • The features for the rip fence are good; the registration and accuracy is completely acceptable for my work. Paired with the Bosch miter saw that I own, I have no excuse for not getting the job done - well.

  • The right side of the table expands to 25", just lift the lever, slide the table out and push the locking lever back down.
  • The rip fence and blade were aligned right out of the box and the rip fence slides very smoothly.
  • The onboard tool and cord storage work great.
  • The large wheels work great for a bumpy area.
  • The stand is no longer made up of one solid bar. Instead the handles are separate pieces and is very loose to the touch.
