About the Product
If speakers are the voice of an audio system, then the subwoofer is the heart. Klipsch subwoofers craft bass more powerfully or efficiently than their competition within similar pricing.
Meet the latest addition to the SVS arsenal. The 2000 Series is the result of obsessive demands and exhaustive testing. Inspired by the Ultra Series, the PB-2000 was brought to life under the same design philosophy as its renowned Ultra siblings. The challenge: to deliver unprecedented levels of real-world output and sonic precision for the price. It does just that—and more. A slam-and-impact super-hero, the PB-2000 shows up in full force when the movie script demands.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
  • This subwoofer definitely rattles my medium-size room and is without a doubt, the BIG DAWG of my 7.1 system and so for me, definitely worth the price.
  • This is a large-ish sub, but I wouldn't characterize it as a monster. It didn't seem unduly heavy, nor did it take up much more room than the 10" Infinity it replaced.
  • The wife was scared of the size but now agrees that it for movies and music it is great .
  • It is large, but actually compact, considering its output and the kind of company it keeps.
  • Very nice sound for movies. This a large heavy subwoofer that is pretty cumbersome though.
SVS PB-2000 12" 500-watt Powered Subwoofer (Single)
  • Nice looking, heavy and big - the real deal.
  • This subwoofer is a monster in sound and in size (it's HUGE) and I can't say enough wonderful things about it.
  • This thing is huge! Too big considering its performance.
  • The only downside may be its size, but with ported subwoofers, size matters.

What customers say about "Audio"
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
  • This is ported in the front, and has 600 max watts. This subwoofer FILLS my living room with RICH, HEAVY, and PHENOMENAL bass.
  • I'm so impressed with the quality of this subwoofer, and in the quality and volume of bass it creates.
  • Hands down, I'm ecstatic about this subwoofer. Don't think twice, buy this subwoofer. You'll be happy you did, trust me! Huge bass!
  • I'm really liking this sub so far. Really clean tight sounding base. I've had several subs over the years but this is much better.
  • I've only had this for one day, so far so very very good. Looks and sounds great.
SVS PB-2000 12" 500-watt Powered Subwoofer (Single)
  • This sub woofer is amazing, i listen to a lot of bass heavy music so the upgrade from my 8 inch 100 watt Yamaha to this was much needed. this sub woofer can pump out super low frequencies with ease.
  • Its ability to switch frequencies on the fly is what differentiates it from other sub woofers on the market. when listening to heavy bass EDM such as G Jones, Tipper, or Bassnectar it performs wonderfully and can create massive sound pressure in my room with no problem
  • Good sub that delivers solid low frequencies.
  • Punchy, tight and accurate sound down to about 60hz, Significantly worse from there down.
  • The low frequency sound gets very muddy and sloppy at times with certain music. Especially with hip hop/trap/trance/deep house

What customers say about "Features"
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
  • The setup is undramatic, if you've dealt with subs before. Gain, crossover, phase, on/off...neither more or less difficult than expected.
  • The driver has a serious look - a thick rubber surround, a metallic cone, and a large slot-vent.
  • Fit and finish is awesome. I personally really like the wrap on this sub. It looks and feels like brushed aluminum.
  • With the powerful 300W amplifier, I only had to set the gain halfway (50%) in order to match my Polk RTi A9 front tower speakers.
  • This sub looks beautiful and it's way more powerful than the rear-ported R-12SW / R-120SW.
SVS PB-2000 12" 500-watt Powered Subwoofer (Single)
  • Very articulate bass with excellent control and dynamics.
  • The oak finish also looks fantastic, so if aesthetics are a concern do not worry.
  • RCA input quit working after a few weeks.
  • The veneer finish is a little cheap, moderately easy to peel at the edges. Knicked the corner when carrying the sub into another room and it peeled back.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Klipsch R-112SW Subwoofer, Black
  • This thing is a massive beast. Pair these up with any hi fidelity system and the bass will blow you away!!
  • This SW perfectly complements my new RP-450C center, RP-240S surround sound, RP-140SA rear, RP-260F floor speakers and Yamaha RX-V779.
  • I have them connected to a Marantz SR7010 AVR. The crossover is at about 100hz and I have the gain set to about 1/2 right now......it's amazing!
  • The subwoofer is perfectly connected to my speakers, the sound is just a masterpiece!
  • Poor grounding. Emits a loud hum even when disconnected from the AVR. It becomes even worse when an audio cable is connected.
