About the Product
The Fenix UC35 is a tactical, pocket-sized, compact flashlight featuring micro USB charging, with exquisite appearance, a far-reaching beam and one-hand operation. It is fitted with a CREE XP-L HI V3 LED that delivers an output of up to 1000 Lumens and a maximum distance of 872 feet/266 meters. One tactical tail switch and one functional side switch controls five output levels and the strobe mode.
New and improved, the PD35 V2.0 flashlight is destined to carry forward on Fenix’s most popular flashlight. Fitted with the Cree XP-L HI V3 LED, this light delivers a maximum 1000 lumens at a distance of 820 feet (250 meters).

- Jesus, this is a good flashlight. I bought one for my son who is a firefighter. He loved it but I didn't want to give it up. I guess I'll have to buy myself one now.
- It takes one 18650 battery, which have gone down in price now that all the vaperizers are using that battery.
- I am a professional Firefighter and paramedic, 20+ years on the job. I abuse the crap out of my gear... This light is awesome. I use it in crap conditions.
- I use this light every day. It has taken a beating, it has been dropped many times from many different heights.

Fenix PD35-1 Flashlight
- Almost a year and the light is still working, nothing broke and everything functions as usual. Dropped it a few times so it has some small scratches and dings on it.
- The other produced a very nice bright white light that lacked a clear border or definition. There is clearly a Quality Control issue here.
- This Fenix PD 35 is small in size but big on power. The ability of the PD35 to retain the power level desired when first turned on is a great benefit.
- One note...the light on the top few modes is VERY, VERY bright. This is not a toy. If you use it in those modes, never point it at any eyes (human or pet).
- I keep this light on a night stand at night. Because of it's brightness and it's ability to strobe, this is a tactical light, "my bump in the night light." should I have to grab a personal defense weapon to go with it, as well as a general purpose light.

- Fantastic flashlight. Very intuitive to operate with a dedicated on/off tail button, and a side mounted mode button.
- It's also bright enough on the highest setting to light up an entire street or scorch the retinas of a would be assailant, all in a pocket-sized package with a strong belt clip attached.
- So far battery life is great! If you want to blind someone the turbo mode will do the trick. lol Otherwise medium mode will suit your needs.
- The only problem so far is that the rubber dust cover on the USB port will tear off in about a week.
- After only 7 months, the USB recharging connector does not work. Looking for a way to have it replaced.
Fenix PD35-1 Flashlight
- Rubber brightness button works without malfunctioning and the rubber hasnt deteriorated or broken off yet.
- The on/off switch is located on the tail of the light, and there are raised edges surrounding it, so it's less likely to be turned on by a stray bump.
- Its tactical mode is great, with easy access to all other modes by using the switch near the front of the flashlight.
- The PD35 also has a mode change button on the barrel, a much more logical and convenient place to toggle between brightness modes once the light is on.
- I don't much care for the mode button on the front but I got used to it.

- The charge seemed to last a long time, it's waterproof just as advertised, and I just love the micro-charger.
- I like the USB charger as it makes it easy to top off when your deployed and cant find fancy CR123 batteries. The light just keeps running, I am surprised how long it lasts on a single charge.
- It doesn't charge super fast so if you need it full brightness tomorrow charge it today. it is very bright, bright enough to see in the daytime.
- It is very convenient being able to use one of my many phone chargers to charge this light. If it ever dies I will purchase another for sure
- Love that I can charge it in my truck. Super bright and extremely sturdy.
Fenix PD35-1 Flashlight
- This flashlight also provides very long run times on all modes (over an hour @ 800 lumens).
- This is a very well built device. The brightness is excellent and it takes 18650 batteries in addition to CR123A's. That means you can recharge the batteries.
- I used the same batteries at the same level of charge and in the same environment, etc.
- My only complaint is that I wish it would just drain the battery completely instead of switching off after 4-5 minutes when it's on turbo mode.
- I'd recommend buying the 3.7 rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries b/c you're not just going to run out to the store and grab some CR123A batteries.
