What customers say about "Key Specs"
CamelBak Mini M.U.L.E. Hydration Pack, 50oz
  • This doesn’t have much storage for packing snacks or a lunch, but it is such a great size for a little hiker- my 5 year old is able to now carry in and out her own water which is awesome.
  • This pack sits squarely centered on his back for his size and provides a little adjustment to expand when he gets taller.
  • The bag is nice, just enough room for small things you might need on a day hiking or biking expidition.
  • This is the perfect fix; just big enough to be useful, not too big for a little kid. The shoulder straps are sized appropriately and they are comfortable.
  • This is the perfect size pack for a my pre-teen boys. The storage is perfect size for a light packed lunch/snacks for a day hike or ride.
  • My only issue is with the straps. They are made of a mesh-like material banded together with simply white nylon piping seams. It`s not secure enough.
CamelBak Scout 2018 Kid's Hydration Pack, 50oz
  • It’s a perfect size for my 6yr old, and honestly I could use it too. It’s really good quality.
  • This one is absolutely perfect for your young child up through early teen. It is super high quality and works great.
  • Small pouch in front is not deep so it's easier to access things like a cell phone or keys or wallet.
  • The pack is perfect in that application, and is very well made. It's also small enough that neither you or you child can pack it too heavy for a few miles on the trails.
  • While we love the hydration pack idea, there were no directions or videos on how to get the hydration pack out and back in. I think Camelbak should include detailed directions.

What customers say about "Features"
CamelBak Mini M.U.L.E. Hydration Pack, 50oz
  • It dont leak, it aren't too heavy for my children and they can pack a snack, extra socks and a small toy too.
  • There’s a quality pouch, pocket, zipper, stitch, strap, valve, bladder or whistle exactly where they need to be.
  • Zipper pocket and a larger accommodating pocket for gear. Has stabilizing straps so it doesn't move all over the place when you ate carrying a full load.
  • Camelback as always has good quality and this one will hopefully last as long as some of the other ones we have.
  • One issue we've had is some leaking, but this has only happened a couple of times. Not sure why it has leaked as we have been careful to ensure the opening is tightly screwed closed.
CamelBak Scout 2018 Kid's Hydration Pack, 50oz
  • It's also great because we can pack some snacks, a phone charger and if it get's hot, we can delayer and put them in the backpack.
  • The small hydration bladder is just the right size for kids on the move, and the chest strap buckle has a built in emergency whistle if they get jumpy or need your attention.
  • The front pouch can hold a little toy and there is a place to slide a name tag into as well which is a smart feature!
  • Clip along the front of the backpack for snug fit. That is a must and a great feature on any backpack.
  • Mesh pouches on both sides are great for water bottles. Pouch for water is a great size and could be solid even for a much longer 10 mile hike.
  • My only complaint is that it seems a little small. I am worried my kid will outgrow it fast.
