What customers say about "Key Specs"
Marshall 2525C Mini Silver Jubilee 20/5W 1x12" Combo
  • This little Marshall has more than decent cleans--due to some somewhat confusing volume and/or gain controls, the amp has a huge array of clean tones.
  • The gain channel is all you would expect, but this same "input gain" also allows for a wide degree of tone shaping of your gain. But wait, there are two more knobs for gain, "output master" and "lead master".
  • The "input gain" knob allows you to dial in the tone of your cleans, from spanking sparkly to dark fat jazz. And pull out the input gain knob to engage "rhythm clip" to add some nice grind and crunch to the clean.
  • On the 1st two gigs the singer, and the drummer both commented on how great the tone sounded. It gives any fender clean a run for its money and sounds like a 100W on 10 but at reasonable volumes.
  • This Marshall amp is absolutely perfect for home use. I love the Standby switch which also doubles as toggle switch between 5 watts and 20 watts. This allows you to get the big Marshall tone at a lower volume level.
Marshall JCM800 2203X 100W Tube Head
  • Exceedingly loud. The Master/Pre Amp allows me to dial in any guitar to near equal gain regardless of pickups/guitar etc. Very clean when clean and monster gain when wide open.
  • Sounds best when pushed hard, A little thin at practice level, but take it to the stage and crank it up and it's just wonderful.
  • The effects line works perfectly and the JCM really does accept all pedals very well.
  • Very simple controls, just EQ, pre-amp volume (which controls gain) and Master volume (which controls loudness). Adds an FX Loop, which the originals didn't have.
  • With the pre amp on about 2, your clean tone sounds like it is vibrating a metal tray covered in broken glass, just beautiful crisp and a little raw.

What customers say about "Features"
Marshall 2525C Mini Silver Jubilee 20/5W 1x12" Combo
  • The clean channel is unlike anything you ever heard from Marshall. Super clean and quiet, and when you clip it, the notes sound very very very clear when you play chords with full distrprtion.
  • This amp has tone and sustain for days. Te headroom is excellent and it cleans up nicely when the volume is rolled down. I play in bars most every weekend and this amp is PERFECT!
  • reat sounding well built amp. Plug your Strat or Les Paul in and get ready for some of the best sounds of rock. From Hendrix to Slash and Bonamassa it covers it all. Take the time to learn how to dial this one in and you won't be disappointed.
  • Ideal for metal, yet the clean channel sounds beautiful as well. I play it on the 5 watt setting at home and it still crushes. I traded in the distortion pedal I was using, I no longer need it.
  • When I use the clean channel on this amp, the tone is so beautiful, warm and Chili Peppers that I don't even need to plug in any effects pedals. This is an expensive amplifier for a 20/5watt combo with a single speaker, but the amazing tone it delivers is worth it.
Marshall JCM800 2203X 100W Tube Head
  • Very handy is the efx loop, since I have still an EQ sit, the range by 2.5 kHz narrow-band dampened and somewhat widerbandiger the range around 125 Hz again strengthened.
  • This amp is a beast. Loud and tone monster, plug and start rocking without any bullshit
  • I simply love this amp a whole lot, goes from bluesy cleans all the way to 80's Metal. This amp is brutal and unforgiving, you need to learn how to play with the amp, because you hear every single mistake you make.
  • holy loud. this amp is sweet for anything from blues to hareder classic rock. in order to get into the heavier end of music you have to turn the pre-amp gain all the way up.
  • This is one of the most versatile amps i have ever owned. It can nail anything from a hard crunch tone to a soft blues sound. It has a great response to the guitars volume.
