About the Product
The PowerShot G7 X is a premium high-performance camera that puts exciting and impressive capabilities in a sophisticated, compact package. It starts with the sensor: a large and light-grabbing 1.0-inch, 20.2 Megapixel* High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor powered by Canon's latest generation DIGIC 6 Image Processor for beautifully rendered low-light photography up to ISO 12800. The IS lens is a f/1.8 (W)-f/2.8 (T) that puts more in your frame while staying bright to the maximum 4.2x Optical Zoom (24mm-100mm), with a 9-blade circular aperture diaphragm for artistic background blur, and a minimum focus range of just 5cm for precise macro shooting.
Take crystal-clear photographs and record high-resolution movies with this Panasonic Lumix digital camera. It uses a 1-inch, 20-megapixel sensor for bright, colorful pictures, and its 4K recording features let you produce Ultra HD footage. This Panasonic Lumix digital camera lets you snap selfies and capture memories via the 180-degree tilting touch-screen monitor.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Canon PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera - Wi-Fi Enabled
  • Size: I am a professional photographer who is looking for something as an alternative to my DSLR to put in my pocket... and this camera is the perfect size.
  • Lightweight, easy to use, fits in a purse or large pocket.
  • I really like the fact this fits nicely in a pocket, is light-weight, and with the rear optic viewfinder I find it much easier to take photos.
  • This thing is solid, heavy (relatively speaking) and feels really well built. I really like the ergonomics.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 Camera, 20.1 Megapixel 1" Large Sensor
  • This is an ideal choice for consumers who demand pocket sized camera and don't want to break the bank.
  • Size is small and light, large pants pocket-able to be sure (careful of lint).
  • It is a great compact camera. It is very fast. Every picture I took is great.
  • Smaller size; these cameras keep growing. RX100 MK1 was great, MK2 just OK, and MK34 I could feel it's not right anymore. LX10 is even bigger and I don't like that.
  • A very nice quality photo and video camera does not fit in any pocket but the sensor size and raw capability it is ok.

What customers say about "Imaging"
Canon PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera - Wi-Fi Enabled
  • Focusing is very fast in my use. I feel this is subjective and based on how the user will use it.
  • Great low light pictures and videos. Good picture quality.
  • Extremely pleased. Image stabilization works great giving sharp bird photos handheld even at max optical+digital zoom.
  • The videos are very good to excellent as well, and the optical stabilization is very smooth, I was very impressed but I don't shoot video all that much, so that's just icing on the cake.
  • Slow auto focus/slow shutter speed.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 Camera, 20.1 Megapixel 1" Large Sensor
  • It is really sharp and does A LOT better in low light than my giant Canon 7D. Even when the light is terrible, this camera will at least get you a usable picture, even if it is a bit splotchy.
  • Takes great clear photos. Moving from a simple point & shoot camera so I am still learning all the new features. The pictures in the Auto (iA) mode takes excellent pics.
  • Extraordinary focus speed and burst / 4K photo modes to catch elusive action.
  • The images are sharp, the Summilux lens is not exactly a Leitz, but is manufactured by Panasonic to Leitz's specs I have no complaints. It is a fast lens.
  • Took a while to get used to operating this camera but the quality of photos are just what I was looking for.

What customers say about "Display"
Canon PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera - Wi-Fi Enabled
  • Flipping screen is perfect for selfies and vlogs.
  • Touch Screen: I can use the touch screen to focus (changing focus points is wonderful, touch to shoot, make setting adjustments, zoom in during editing. It is like shooting a combination smart phone/slr style.
  • Flip out Screen is more useful than I though, making it easier to shoot at creating angles
  • Touchscreen was another bonus which was more useful than i'd anticipated.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 Camera, 20.1 Megapixel 1" Large Sensor
  • The articulating screen works great so I can keep the camera at chest level and not annoy people around me.
  • Touchscreen is very clear an sharp.
  • I sometimes find the touch screen to be as bothersome as useful.
  • No tilt down screen.

What customers say about "Features"
Canon PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera - Wi-Fi Enabled
  • Manual Controls: I like the ability to use the Front ring, the exposure dial, the back dial, 2 custom buttons and the touch screen to make adjustments. With a few different options available messing around and finding the one that works best for me is great.
  • Customizable menu and user interface. I actually like that I can hide all the features I don't need/use and streamline my menu to be able to make changes to the things I need faster.
  • Absolutely love this camera. Stability, sound, visual clarity are so good! Fits in a pocket, and ready to go.
  • The movie mode is excellent, especially using the touch screen to move the focus point while recording the movie is a great tool for creative recordings.
  • Battery dies out after an hour of use.
  • Comes with only wrist strap. Would be nice to have neck strap. I've searched online, but don't see any such accessories.
  • Battery life is short. I don't have shot numbers as I have been playing around with settings and wifi. Actual use will vary and to follow.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 Camera, 20.1 Megapixel 1" Large Sensor
  • There is a lot of customization you can do, it took me awhile to figure out that I could actually make the focus ring actually...control the manual focus, since it didn't do that by default.
  • With the F1.4 Leica lens, it works great indoors without a flash and performs extremely well outdoors for landscape shots.
  • Flash and low light photography is awesome. It’s amazing pre set setting work wonders for beginners. Clear, crisp photos for the Gram and any other social media.
  • It has a lot of features packed into it including 4k video, which I have no interest in. But it does shoot bursts in a way that enables the capture of sharp photos in a fast moving situation.
  • Image quality, ease of use, and especially the stabilization made it invaluable!
  • Haven't used the camera yet because the AC adapter is missing from the box. Very disappointing.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Canon PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera - Wi-Fi Enabled
  • Wifi-enabled, so you can send photos to your phone right after you shoot them. You don't need to use your mobile data either!
  • Wifi: Great to have it to transfer images to my phone to post to social media instantly.
  • Another great feature, which is a given in smartphones is WiFi transfer
  • Unfortunately, the camera does not support my Windows Phone, which is a shame, because I am not going to switch to Android or iOS because of it.
  • The wifi button is too easy to press even though it is recessed. So when putting the camera in my pocket or in a nifty case I have, it is too easy to accidentally turn on the camera by pressing the recessed wifi button.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 Camera, 20.1 Megapixel 1" Large Sensor
  • The ease of downloading the photos onto my cell phone is nice.
  • Very sharp camera - transfers photos over to my iPhone X well.
  • Only issue is the WIFI remote control's distant is too short.
