What customers say about "Key Specs"
Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove
  • Wide burner distributes heat for less hot spots
  • The burners look big and well designed.
  • This stove is way more powerful and will boil water much faster. If using a smallish pan you really need to turn the burner down super low to effectively not over-heat the surface (or the pan handle). This stove is a beast.
  • Tons of cooking power. Also, no problems with a low simmer. Wide range of flame intensity.
  • Extra width provides adequate space for two full size pots/pans used simultaneously
  • Right burner had a fuel leak which caused frequent blowouts.
Coleman Classic Propane Stove Portable Propane Gas Classic Camp Stove with 2 Burners
  • This stove is a lifesaver and we absolutely love it. There are no bad things I can say about it, and if it ever broke, we would replace it with the same stove immediately.
  • Burners are more powerful than the campers tired stove. Set up was easy and it packs up small.
  • Powerful burner, easy setup. We bought this stove to take with us for extended camping trips and so far have been very happy.
  • Need more power! This thing is great just used it over the weekend at Camp Pendleton. Good is it puts out a lot of even heat.
  • Worked great for the hurricane. Power was out for five days, and it was a lifesaver. Hooked it up to a small propane tank and worked like a charm.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove
  • This is twice that of the competitors in the same compact size. There are now two plastic latches (see pictures) and they seem sturdy.
  • Knocking just one star because besides all that, works great, seems decently built enough while still maintaining a lighter weight.
  • Overall the unit is lightly constructed which keeps weight down, but I wonder how long it will stand up to camping.
  • The lid is light weight sheet metal, will get dinged up plenty with use but the trade off for light weight is a little flimsiness.
  • Best stove in this category and it punches say above its weight and price.
Coleman Classic Propane Stove Portable Propane Gas Classic Camp Stove with 2 Burners
  • The compact size and light weight made it easy to pack for the trip.
  • Very convenient size and weight; can easily transport it to any location.
  • It's light weight and pretty sturdy. I don't care much for the way the burner knobs are set.
  • It's light weight, and solid construction. This is a great buy.
  • Not light weight by any means, but easy to carry and could probably stop a small bullet. Cooks food.

What customers say about "Features"
Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove
  • Buttery silk smooth flame adjustment down to the perfect simmer or up to "is this going to melt my stove in half hot" we plan on deep frying a turkey this thanksgiving on ONE of the burners.
  • There are flexible hose adapters that are a nice upgrade that replace the standard camp stove regulator
  • I am a fan of self ignition, and the igniter button has always fired on the first strike.
  • It handles low setting great, the ignition has never misfired and it gets HOT.
  • Carrying handle/groove had sharp edges.
Coleman Classic Propane Stove Portable Propane Gas Classic Camp Stove with 2 Burners
  • Nice, reasonably priced camping stove. Seems very well built, sturdy, and made of metal, not plastic.
  • Wish i would have purchased the stove with Auto Light feature. Besides using for camping, makes a great emergency stove.
  • The two burners operate individually which is a nice feature. The space between the bars on the grill are too far apart for my needs.
  • This is a great camp stove with no fancy features that will break or malfunction. I anticipate having this stove for many years and many camping trips.
  • There is no push button lighter, you will need a camp lighter with long handle.
