What customers say about "Key Specs"
Garmin Edge 520 (010-01368-00) Bike Computer
  • The purchase of this Garmin bicycle computer was a BIG upgrade over what I have used for decades -- namely, basic functioning wired computers.
  • I like the computer a lot. I transitioned from many years using a garmin 310XT as a cycling computer.
  • Eight user-selectable functions on the home screen, color maps, grade measurement to two significant digits, ambient temperature, and a lot of other upgrades over my old Garmin Edge 305.
  • An upscale replacement for my Garmin Edge 500. Much smarter, lot's of functionality, and long battery life.
  • So much functionality for the novice to the expert. I am still learning how to use all the features but so far I love it.
CatEye Padrone (CC-PA100W) Black, One Size
  • I have had this unit for several months now and although it was tricky to set up the first time, the unit does its job.
  • I really like this computer because I can read it without having to wear reading glasses. All the basic functions. That's all I want and need. It looks cool too.
  • Works great, dependable and easy to set up. Basic functions are all I need and the large display is perfect for a quick glance.
  • Very easy to install. Has all the functions I need not to mention the big display that makes the reading easy and at a glance!
  • Needed a new wireless computer that has big enought numbers to easily be seen, and this fit the bill.

What customers say about "Features"
Garmin Edge 520 (010-01368-00) Bike Computer
  • Nice colour screen and has all functions you need in a Bike Computer
  • It's nice that all the data screens are fully configurable.
  • Garmin Live track is very cool. My wife can now keep tabs on me during the ride.
  • Amazing variety of metrics and support for various sensors: HR, cadence, power meter, etc.
  • The weather alert is annoying and needed to be disabled. If there's a thunderstorm in the area, it'll just keep alerting you every 5 minutes, which blocks all the other metrics on the screen until you clear the alert.
CatEye Padrone (CC-PA100W) Black, One Size
  • The display is VERY easy to read, and the click for mode switching works great.
  • With large, easy to read numbers. It is very comfortable to handle with gloves and very easy to mount on my stem. Really pleased! If you look for a computer, this is the answer!
  • Love this nice big screen! Very very easy to read.
  • It is easy to deal with changing screens on the rid. Does what I need and does it well vs. does everything for everyone but is 500 layers deep to do so...
  • Big screen, great features, good price. Love it!

What customers say about "Battery"
Garmin Edge 520 (010-01368-00) Bike Computer
  • The battery seems to last for several 2 hour long rides before needing to be recharged. I have used it on one day ride that was 7-8 hours long successfully.
  • After 3 hours of use the battery is on track to last about 10 hours with gps.
  • It replaces the smartphone both in navigation and in consuming the battery.
  • Syncs well with my iphone, gives live updates as I ride and I am pleasantly surprised with the battery life.
  • I wouldn't say no to a longer-lasting battery, though. Seems a bit short and might be problematic for a ride day that lasts more than 4 hours.
CatEye Padrone (CC-PA100W) Black, One Size
  • I also like that it uses the same kind of battery for main unit and transmitter.
  • Been using this on several bikes for years. No problems so far. Original batteries.
  • The only thing I wonder about is how long the battery will last in this computer.
  • Two hours, two more bought new batteries and this has yet to work.
  • The unit resets and randomly dies with brand new name brand batteries.
