Buy It For Look. Buy It For Life

This is the motto of the Moen company - one of the most influential players on the US market of the bathroom wares. You can often find its products in the home depot's section of the premium-class commodities. The 6410BN Eva model is exactly like this. It is a 2-lever mixer that has a single-piece deck plate mountable on a 3-hole basin. Of course, it can be installed on a tub too, just check out if it has enough pre-drilled holes. The faucet is made of the reliable, heavy metal with the brushed nickel texture and color, which in our opinion ideally suits modern-style bathrooms. However, you can also have it oil-rubbed bronze or chrome and that's up to you to decide which of the options would match your own bathroom better.

The aerator is capped at 1.5 GPM throughput and EPA WaterSence labeled, that makes it a water-efficient solution - a prime feature if you want to spend less on the bills. The included pop-up drain assembly with a matching top finish is a pleasant bonus. Additionally, you can find a Moen's aluminum towel rack with the same style and color to go along with the faucet.

Concluding, we readily recommend this Moen 6410BN Eva mixer if you are looking for a high-quality faucet to set it up once and then use it until the end of times.

Quick Installation, Reliable Operation

When we stumbled upon this model, we immediately wanted to see it in action. It has an uncommon spout design with an open top part and nozzle that creates a water cascade. Somehow, it reminds of the Japanese bamboo fountains with their meditating water flows. Both temperature and intensity are controlled by a single, smooth-running lever. We had a slight concern that if you rapidly pulled it up, the water would run all over you. Turned out, there's no such issue here as the water streams down almost immediately. Even though there's no aerator, the faucet's output is still capped at 1.5 GPM in accordance with EPA recommendations. Furthermore, the special Pforever Seal ceramic valve has a lifetime warranty against the leaks.

As for the installation, it is a 1-hole model and comes with a detailed instruction on how to set it up. Thus, there's no need to call a plumber because you can mount it yourself using regular tools. Even if you've got a 3-hole sink, you can still cover and seal this faucet through the included 6.7" deck plate. The Push and Seal pop-up drain doesn't have to be hooked up to the faucet - just push it once to open up.

Overall, this spectacular Pfister bathroom sink faucet is easy-to-install and fairly pleasant to use.

Exciting Waterfall

One glance is enough to understand why we have chosen this model. This 1-lever faucet has the contemporary squarish design with lots of right angles. The spout towers above the mounting surface (either a sink or a countertop) at 5.2". The flattened 3.15" wide spout has a unique nozzle construction that will create a fascinating small waterfall right in your bathroom or kitchen! The daily routines like brushing your teeth, washing your hands or fast cleaning up will be even more comfortable with it.

The faucet box includes almost everything for a quick 1-hole installation, except for the tools. Also, don't mistake elegance of form with fragility. This waterfall bathroom faucet has been designed for intense use. The manufacturer assures that the chromed brass body with a ceramic valve was stress-tested at high water pressures up to 1.6 Mpa! LightInTheBox company guarantees that this mixer can be used around 600,000 times. Not the figures to brush off easily, right?

In conclusion, we want to add that LightInTheBox made a series of products with the squarish design. For instance, you can find a perfectly matching bathroom accessory set from this company, that have 1 double bar towel rack, 1 towel holder, 1 hook, and 1 toilet paper holder.

GROHE: Perfect Flow. Perfect Control

GROHE company is another famous manufacturer of high-quality faucets and other bathroom ware with years of experience to back it up. The company has designed and brought to life a large number of different technologies and products that you can use every day without giving it a second thought. For instance, take this Eurostyle Cosmopolitan faucet. It features the GROHE SilkMove ceramic valve that will provide you with many years of service life without a risk of leakage. The special Teflon coating on the valve discs ensures the frictionless lever movements. The QuickFix installation allows mounting it without a fuzz as the faucet comes almost fully preassembled. The glaring StarLight finish is done via a unique layered plating process that prevents metal tarnishing and protects the faucet from the scratches. The aerator's outflow is capped at the EPA-recommended 1.5 GPM - saves you more money on bills. The included pop-up waste set for the sink ends the long list of features on a high note. After all, the GROHE Eurostyle Cosmopolitan Bathroom Faucet is a good investment with the ideal water pressure and thought-out details.

We want to add only one thing: if you want to install this mixer on a tube that has 3 holes in it, then we suggest getting a special 6" GROHE deck plate to seal the holes that you are not planning to use.

Old-World Style

This Designers Impressions oil-rubbed bronze faucet is a perfect choice for the Tuscan style lavatory. If you've already got a set of the bathroom vanity and cabinets with brass-brown or granite-black countertops, then this 3-hole mixer is exactly what you need. Nevertheless, the very same model is also available with the polished chrome and satin nickel finish. Thus, you will surely find a good match for your bathroom style.

The faucet comes with 2 levers that rotate forward at up 90° each. A water-saving aerator output is comparatively powerful, up to 2 GPM stream. You can buy it not just for houses but for public places like restaurants or barbershops either, where you might need to quickly wash your hands, clean some tools or even dishes. Once again, you don't need to call a plumber to install it, thanks to the included manual. The spout has an excellent reach - about 6" from the base plate, while the aerator is placed at 5.9" above the mounting surface. That is why we advise putting this beautiful Designers Impressions faucet above the wide sink to have fewer water splashes on the countertop or bathroom floor. Overall, this mixer will look great in almost any bathroom in a semi-antique style.

What is a Bathroom Faucet

A faucet or a water mixer requires no special explanation. Being a special plumbing fixture with a handle or levers that control a valve or a couple of valves, it is used mostly for mixing hot and cold water together and then delivering it through a single spout. By rough estimates, an average US family of 3 opens and closes a bathroom faucet or adjusts a temperature with it approximately from 5 to 10 thousand times a year. However, only a high-quality and reliable fixture can withstand such intense use for many years. On top of that, a faucet is also the most frequently used item in any restroom too. That's why a proper faucet can effectively emphasize the style of your bathroom. We've set to find out the best-looking faucets on the market and now we are glad to present you our results.

Right before we start, you might also be interested in the other ways to decorate your bathroom. Thus, we recommend you to get a model from our guide to the best shower heads. Just in case you'd also like to take control of your health, we've got your back with our thorough analysis of the best bathroom scales that can help you track not only your weight but many other body parameters.

What Features to Compare

First of all, consider what Faucet Type you want to have in your bathroom. There are mixers with one or two levers to control the flow intensity and temperature. You may also find faucets with the movement sensor activation but they are mostly used in public places to reduce the spread of diseases that transmit through the touch. Back to the lever-operated models, the single-handle type takes less space on a sink or a bath and can be used with only one hand. However, the 2-lever faucets allow more precise flow and temperature control, though some models can be awkwardly bulky.

Next thing to check out is the Installation Type. Usually, the 1-lever models need only 1 hole in a sink or countertop to mount it in while others would need to be installed in three separate holes - a deck plate in the center and hot and cold water valves on the sides (this type of faucets is also called a "centerset"). You can also find wall-mounted faucets and get away with clear sink top. In any case, despite the type of faucet you're going to get, they all have their own specific installation guidelines usually supplied with the kit itself.

Note: if your bath or sink has already got 3 pre-drilled holes, you can still use a 1-hole faucet by mounting it on top of a special deck plate that may come in a set or can be bought separately on Amazon or at any Home Depot.

Then, choose the outlook design and size. Along with all the mentioned above, you can also consider the Finish Pattern of the chosen faucet. For instance, chrome or nickel one goes well with a modern bathroom while the oil rubbed would better match old, semi-antique or classic décor. In any case, steer clear of the low-quality Materials and never go for the cheapest model if you don't want to find your faucet leak in a short while. Adding a few bucks now can save you more in the future. The valves with ceramic discs in a brass or stainless steel housing can be a good option, too.

The Maximum Flow Rate indicates how many gallons of water can pass through a faucet's spout in one minute. Take note that this value shouldn't be higher than 2.5 gallons per minute (GPM) in accordance with the US law. Furthermore, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has introduced the WaterSense program that should decrease the water wastage by limiting the flow to 1.5 GPM with a special spout or an aerator design. For this reason, when you see the EPA WaterSense® label on a product, you already know that before you is a highly efficient mixer that will save you a lot on the water bills. However, keep in mind that most mixers without an aerator have a lower pressure stream than the faucets with the one, even if they have the same GPM rate.

Finally, small Extra Features like a pop-up drain, additional fixtures or unique valve design can be worth mentioning as well.
