What customers say about "Key Specs"
Garmin Virb 360 Rugged, Waterproof 360-degree Camera with 5.7K/30fps Resolution
  • Overall image quality is as good as it could be for a prosumer 360 camera.
  • The video is stitched together nicely and the quality is great.
  • The video quality was okay, but only in perfect light. In a dark-ish restaurant (yes, dark-ish is a technical measurement), the video quality was very poor.
  • Video quality/resolution, I am not going to take off too many points for this since I knew it was 4k 360 video which isn't going to be the same as 4k 16:9 video. But would be nice for higher quality.
  • The quality of the videos/photos almost remind me of the first cellphones that came with cameras...OK, maybe not that bad. The images are grainy and a bit distorted due to the wide angle lenses.
GoPro Fusion 360° 4K Action Camera
  • Bought this camera so I could start recording track runs in my Dodge Challenger Hellcat in 360 degree video. The video quality is great (Along w/audio and the mobile-editing app)
  • I love the picture and video quality of this camera.
  • Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a 360 camera. Best video quality on a 360 camera I have seen yet.
  • The Overcapture feature was the winning feature on this camera along with the 5.2k resolution (so you can zoom and overcapture).
  • Video quality is very bad: grainy, with blurred focus. Daytime recordings with cloudy skies. Replayed on the phone.

What customers say about "Imaging"
Garmin Virb 360 Rugged, Waterproof 360-degree Camera with 5.7K/30fps Resolution
  • It shoots RAW images, and while it's not well documented, it takes them from both cameras at the same time. So while it doesn't stitch them together in-camera, this can be done in post.
  • I used the time-lapse mode, worked well.
  • Image stabilization: In 360, I can't express how impressive the image stabilization is. There are a variety of modes to choose from.
  • The image quality is decent, but not any better than my previous camera, an LG that I bought for $100.
  • Image quality is way lower than I thought. I could live with that. However, the stabilization is a big problem.
GoPro Fusion 360° 4K Action Camera
  • The picture quality is excellent. It is even easier to take still photos from video shot than before. I am very glad about this purchase.
  • The stitching is awesome, easy and brainless.
  • Multi axis stabilization (software based stabilization) is very impressive, and holds the camera angle in place
  • If you want new kind of photos and tinyplanet, this is the camera you're looking for, the app is easy to use and you can make 360 photos easily

What customers say about "Features"
Garmin Virb 360 Rugged, Waterproof 360-degree Camera with 5.7K/30fps Resolution
  • The included tripod is fantastic. I'd buy one of these on its own — the build-quality was solid, it was small enough to be handheld, but didn't feel like it would blow over at the slightest gust.
  • The body feels really great. It feels totally solid, like it could be knocked around without being truly affected.
  • It's super adaptable. I loved that it came with a standard tripod mount and a GoPro mount, making this compatible with pretty much every camera mount that I own. - In-camera stitching is basically a must-include at this point.
  • Images aren't accessible without either removing the camera's memory card, or linking it to your phone. The Virb app is completely unusable without it being linked to a phone, so there's no way to review images that are synced with your phone without the camera being turned on and connected
  • Battery life is lower than what I would like, can be mitigated by using external micro-usb charger/battery pack but the door on the unit sticks out and I worry about it breaking off. Could have had a better design.
GoPro Fusion 360° 4K Action Camera
  • The remote interface on the phone to control the camera is great
  • Battery life is good; usually doesn't run out of battery during a day's worth of casual use. Probably had the battery run down over an 8 hour period with about an hour's worth of clips taken
  • It is waterproof without any additional cases
  • voice recognition is pretty accurate, does not get a lot of false positives. Of course your friends will want to talk over you when you try to use voice commands
  • Wake time is slow, takes about 10-15 seconds to start up, so it is not super convenient for the unexpected, but when it is powered on, it will start recording immediately
  • Requires a lot of hard drive space on your computer, I would recommend having about 4 TB available to sandbox around with this camera. Premiere will need more swap disk space than normal

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Garmin Virb 360 Rugged, Waterproof 360-degree Camera with 5.7K/30fps Resolution
  • I took out the camera and got it working within minutes with my iPhone 6. No issues setting up WiFi or the iOS Virb app.
  • I used the iOS app and desktop app from Garmin to watch the videos I have made so far along with edit/overlay stats.
  • Connection with other Garmin hardware: This is a nice bonus. I have mine connected to my Edge 510 cycle computer.
  • There are no accessories for it. None. Yes, it's compatible with a wide array of mounts, but there are no other parts for it. No spare batteries, so bring a charger everywhere, and especially no cases/pouches/bags, meaning that both lenses are exposed all the time.
  • Consider buying the powered tripod mount and an external USB battery pack for MTB and other adventure videos.
GoPro Fusion 360° 4K Action Camera
  • With the right computer/phone, this is an amazing camera.
  • The phone editing option has a cool interface.
  • I've tried several USB-C cords/different chargers, and it refuses to work. It also won't connect to my computer. I'm going to return this and get a Hero 6 camera.
  • 128GB (64G x2) will only give you about 2h40min of recording time at 3k resolution.
  • Video can be saved neither to phone nor laptop. The phone app was giving me error with no explanation each time I was trying to save a clip.
