What customers say about "Key Specs"
Time ATAC XC4 Pedals
  • Simple, effective pedals. Been riding time for 20+ years and they just work.
  • Great pedals, super durable and great price.
  • I do expect these pedals to last a really long time, hence why I dropped the beaters.
  • Time ATAC pedals are the best. I have been using them for two decades since Look broke up.
Shimano SPD (EPDM520S) Pedal Clipless Pedals
  • This pedal system is highly recommended for good reason. Having the ability to clip on both sides is very important for a newbie like me.
  • The engage/disengagement is super smooth and they look practically the same as 747's.
  • These pedals clip securely but are also easy to get out of.
  • The quality is excellent and looks like they should last for a long time.
  • These are rebuildable, but are so cheap to buy when you can catch them on sale, and last so long, it seems rediculous to think about rebuilding them.

What customers say about "Features"
Time ATAC XC4 Pedals
  • Sheds mud like a champ and no cleat hang ups like Shimano SPD's.
  • I like how the newer, more square-like edge on the binding/release mechanism feels when clicking in.
  • They are the most reliable in foul weather conditions.
Shimano SPD (EPDM520S) Pedal Clipless Pedals
  • The pedals are great looking and are easy to clip in.
  • I liked that they came with cleats for my shoes so that I did not have to guess which kind would fit.
  • This system works great and you'll immediately notice a better power transfer.
  • I use these pedals on my road bike, and love them. The accompanying shoe design lets me walk without using cleat covers or damaging the cleats.
  • They held up over the season and even when the mud built up, clipping in wasn't too hard.
