About the Product
The AC10 was one of the first amplifiers to bear the VOX name and has long been adored for his ability to achieve rich, articulate tube tone at very manageable volumes. For this reason, the AC10 has become a highly coveted piece of VOX history since it's discontinuation in 1965. Now, nearly 50 years later, VOX is proud to introduce the AC10C1, a modern take on this classic design. More portable than the AC15 and more powerful than the AC4, the AC10C1 features the classic Top Boost tone circuit that provides an array of classic and modern tones.
The VOX AC15 is the amp that started it all. Boasting both a Normal and Top Boost channel, the AC15 Custom is an all-tube, EL84 driven workhorse that delivers 15 watts of authentic British tone into your choice of a genuine Celestion Greenback or Alnico Blue speaker. The AC15 Custom also offers footswitchable spring reverb and classic VOX tremolo to enhance the already impressive sound. Adored by the biggest names in music for nearly 60 years, the VOX AC15 Custom carries on the tradition that began in 1958 and offers guitarists the unmistakable sound of VOX, with all the refinements of a modern amplifier.

What customers say about "Key Specs"
Vox AC10 10 Watt Tube Electric Guitar Combo Amplifier
  • After two months of owning the Vox AC10C1, I can safely say that I am more fond of it than any other amp I"ve ever had. Don"t let its small size fool you. This thing gets surprisingly loud, and has that classic Vox TONE for days.
  • This amp is perfect for me. It's surprisingly loud when cranked up. Still sounds great and retains its tone at low volumes without sounding flat and compressed.
  • I'd never expect an amp this small sound so good and creamy.
  • The reverb is really nice and just a little goes a long way on the dial. For it's power (10w) it is loud.
  • This amp makes my body warm inside. I can simply not describe how beautiful it sounds.
Vox AC15 Hand Wired 1x12 Combo
  • The tones it produced sounded organic and felt like a translation of my hand movements instead of an electronic representation of that movement.
  • I've always wanted to own a Vox tube amp, but was little hesitant to purchase this model due to it being only 15 watt capacity. Don't let the 15 watt fool you as it will still provide you with enough volume with great clarity.
  • It immediately invokes a huge smile! Really amazing tone and breath with a surprising amount of headroom and zero noise.
  • Takes pedals with the best and retains that chimey tone even with all the pedals I use for post rock. And for those who are worried about headroom, go play one.
  • Great amp! It hits that sweet spot for a nice warm and clean tone.
  • Two Rock great amp but the treble bleed was annoying and muddy.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Vox AC10 10 Watt Tube Electric Guitar Combo Amplifier
  • The weight is a huge blessings as it is portable due to it's weight and size.
  • This amp sounds HUGE for its size. Way more than I expected. At 27 lbs its a perfect grab and go though I really purchased for my living room.
  • This amp is the perfect size for me and as I follow Celestions recommendations for new speaker 'Break-In' I am very pleased with the tone and how my Gibson LP now sounds compared to the solid state Fender Mustang I i was using.
  • The size - I got this amp exclusively because of its small size and low wattage, but make no mistake, this amp can keep up at a gig no problem
  • The size is absolutely perfect, especially because of the small car I drive (Honda Fit), and I have no problem toting this amp, my guitar, and my pedal board all in one trip from car to venue.
Vox AC15 Hand Wired 1x12 Combo
  • Completely satisfied with the build quality.
  • I've got to say that this Vox AC-15 Custom is more than worthy of the Vox heritage. (goes well with my Les Paul) Don't think of it as a puny 15 watt lightweight. It's big, it's heavy, and an AC-30 won't give you better Vox tones
  • It gives me the nice tube distortion that I get with my vintage fender tube amp without the high volume and high wattage and heavy weight.
  • Don't think of it as a puny 15 watt lightweight. It's big, it's heavy, and an AC-30 won't give you better Vox tones. All I can say is to buy it. You won't be sorry.

What customers say about "Features"
Vox AC10 10 Watt Tube Electric Guitar Combo Amplifier
  • With an external jack to the 16 ohm speaker cab, the amp's tone and volume goes from surprising to amazing!
  • it has MORE of the positive qualities of that amp with the addition of the tube warmth and overdrive, and it will provide lots of overdriven distortion at low volume when you take the gain control up high, but very clean and pure with the volume up but the gain down.
  • The tonal options on this thing are awesome. I'm hearing more bass than a 10" speaker should be capable of. You might find that the mods being suggested don't really make much of a difference.
  • This amp is fantastic. Vox amps have the tone I was looking for and this model can cover clean to crunch. The ten watts deliver more volume than needed in a home setting and could easily do small venues with a PA.
  • I must admit that these little amps sound fantastic. I use 2 of them through a AB switch and keep the volume at 3 which creates the most awesome smooth vintage blues sound you would ever want.
Vox AC15 Hand Wired 1x12 Combo
  • And the AC15 takes well to pedals. I couldn't be happier. I intend to use the AC15 on my upcoming CD.
  • I could write a book about all of the great features this amp provides, but will just say that it is worth every penny and is more than reasonably priced for what you get.
  • The tone warmed up and it sounds soooo sweet. This amp takes old tubes very well and there is a remarkable difference and improvement.
  • Really think it should have come with foot switch but other than that one issue, give it a try and you won't be disappointed!
  • The only issue I have with it is a minor tube rattle when playing lower notes at higher volumes. I will contact Sweetwater tech support about this, but assume that this will be eliminated by replacing the stock tubes.
