COX Pneumatic Caulk Gun (63002 Berkshire)

The COX 63002 is a pneumatic caulking gun which means it uses the air pressure to dispense adhesive materials. The pressure output in the COX 63002 equals 100 PSI which is considered to be high and sufficient for a great range of jobs, from simple repairs to heavy-duty professional tasks. The compatibility of this gun with 29-oz cartridges makes it the perfect tool for use around places like windows, doors, sinks, faucets, etc. With the COX 63002, you will not end up with weak sealed joints like this could've done if you'd used a manual-operated model. Newborn Brothers Caulking Gun (930-GTD)

Simple but Efficient Tool to Keep in Your Shed

The caulking gun from Newborn Brothers is one of the best manual models at the cheap end of the market. However, unlike pneumatic and battery-powered models of caulking guns, the usage of the 930-GTD may take you some effort. To make it easier for the operator to run the tool, the producer equipped it with a smooth pressure rod that requires applying considerably less press than a standard ratchet drive. The 930-GTD features a spring loaded lock plate, which moves the bar and discharges adhesives, and makes the trust ratio equal amazing 10:1, so it can also be used for dispensing high viscosity materials. Speaking of usability features that add to the efficacy of this tool, we'd like to draw your attention to the option of dispersing the needed quantities of caulk, stopping forcing the cartridge when necessary. By doing so, you will prevent mess and cut down on the materials waste.

What customers say about this product

Size & Weight

Premium build. It has some weight to it without the tube in it. It's worth the price

The handle/trigger was easy to use (not too hard too pull, not too soft that it leads to messes - I had a goldilocks moment of this is just right for what I need).

Campbell Hausfeld Air Powered Caulk Gun (PL155800AV)

Simplify Your Household Chores

Battery- and air-powered caulking guns work fine but still require a certain amount of effort. In the case of the Campbell Hausfeld Air-powered caulk gun, achieving the needed dispensing force will be an easy job as you will only need to press a single trigger. It is fair to say that you won't be staggered with the power of this caulk gun. It was primarily designed for home use. What customers say about this product

Size & Weight

It's a inexpensive foreign made item, but it is built really sturdy.

Features

Flexibility: This is the third best feature in my opinion. If you work with silicone, this thing will push it easily! If you use those hand-cranking guns, silicone caulk is dense enough to make life miserable after a few tubes in some cold weather.

Dripless ETS2000

Many Useful Extras

This basic caulk gun from Dripless company features a number of extras which are rarely found in similar cartridge guns. Even though the ETS2000 is a pretty entry model, it delivers a brilliant performance. With a thrust ratio of 12:1, the gun easily copes with latex, acrylic, and silicone materials. Additionally, it is designed with a spout cutter for cartridges opening, making the use of a knife or some other sharp tools unnecessary. Finally, the ETS2000 is equipped with an ergonomic grip to keep your wrist in a natural position and has a pretty grippy long trigger for easy squeezing and comfortable use. On top of it, the gun weighs up to 40% less than other models. We should also mention that the cartridge stops dispensing the material immediately after you stop pulling the trigger. No mess, no waste! You will also notice a hanging hook on the tool. So if you need to perform some elevated sealing jobs you can always hang the gun on a ladder when not in use. All in all, this ergonomic, lightweight, and pretty cheap caulk gun will please you with its excellent and efficient performance.

What customers say about this product

Size & Weight

I'm a small petite woman with hardly any arm strength and so the light weight of this helped me do caulking way over my head without my arm getting tired at all.

Features

I'm so glad I took a chance on this caulk gun, it's my new favorite! It has a smooth action, it does what it says (dripless), and it's very well made. The cartridge tip cutter actually works well and it has a good poker too.

What is a Caulking Gun

Caulk and nails are the important materials which are used not only in building but also in minor repair jobs. Whatever it is that requires tackling, you're likely to need to have a nailer in your arsenal. Besides fasteners, sometimes you may face the need of using sealants, filling the joints of the sink, bathtub, sealing the door gaps, etc., making them more watertight. For this purpose, caulking guns have been designed. There are several types of guns you can find on the modern market which all fall into manual models and battery-powered guns. If you don't need a professional tool, or you don't plan to invest in an expensive gun just yet, you will make do with a simple manual gun. For construction workers, tilers, plumbers, and all those working with adhesives and caulk on a regular basis, we'd recommend considering buying battery-powered models as they are usually lighter and much easier to operate for prolonged periods of time.

A caulk gun is a must in the arsenal of any handyman which allows performing a variety of jobs with less effort and within a shorter time. Just like in a power drill, its scope of application is truly vast. Continue reading and find out the best 5 caulking guns we've selected for you from a variety of models available on the market.
