What customers say about "Key Specs"
Clore Automotive (Jump-N-Carry JNC660) Jump Starter (12V 1700A Peak)
  • The charge lasts a RIDICULOUSLY long time. I schedule a recharge every three months and the gauge always reads at or close to 100%.
  • It retains its charge better than anything I've had (I've used and thrown away 4 or 5 different models).
  • It has more capability and power than I really need. Nice to know it's there, though.
  • Not Lithium Ion (LION). A critical plus, as if left in a car and gets very cold, most LION powered batteries lose all power at around 20 degrees F. Lead acid batteries do not (though lose much of their capacity at 0 F).
  • The lead-acid battery cannot leak, and is not unstable. It holds its charge, and can't be over charged.
  • After a year and a couple of months it now refuses to recharge. It still has some charge left in the batter but when I plug it in it doesnt show as its charging, If it would recharge I would give it 5 starts.
  • It does a good job but after a couple of times of charging it seems to not fully chare anymore. I left it plugged in all night and the green light wasn't on and you could see that the charger capacity was not complete. Other than that it works good.
Clore Automotive JNC770R 1700 Peak Amp Premium 12-Volt Jump Starter
  • This one charges quick, has really good length cables and I've had no problems jumping vehicles of different sizes. Including a full length RV.
  • Best on the market in my opinion. Will start 4cyl., 6cyl., and 8cyl. Engines with bad batteries. My auto dealer uses this same unit to boost their customers, including me one time before I bought my own unit.
  • So far this jumper is meeting my needs for an SUV and anything else for that matter. It holds a charge for a long period of time(over 30 days), and has multiple functions.
  • i work tribeca automotive a car transportation company. i have to use this booster a couple of times a week. i also lend it to coworkers from time to time. i have turn on more than 20 cars and SUVs with this jumper. i love it.
  • I started my car with it after leaving my lights on all night running the battery down. I was out shopping with a friend across the street from my home And ran across some ladies that had done the same and needed a jump.

What customers say about "Interfaces"
Clore Automotive (Jump-N-Carry JNC660) Jump Starter (12V 1700A Peak)
  • 12v to charge small electronics like a cell phone in the woods.
  • Included is a male to male 12 volt plug cord that you can use to charge off a power point. 12 volt charge must be disconnected after full charge, 110 volt can be left on charge indefinitely.
  • The cords and clamps are high quality. Great for dead lawn mower or car. Nice to not have to have long jumper cables.
  • You can charge it from an AC outlet or from cigarette lighter (it comes with an adapter too)
  • Does not include extension cord for recharging unit.
  • My only complaint has been with the A/C power port to plug in your extension cord to charge the unit. The blades actually broke a few years ago and we're no longer able to be used. I remove them to prevent the chance of shorting.
  • The contact grips on clamps are small. Could not attach to my C4 Vette battery. Plastic in handles too thick.
Clore Automotive JNC770R 1700 Peak Amp Premium 12-Volt Jump Starter
  • The clamps have heavy springs (I'm sure some folks would have trouble getting them clamped because they are so strong) so they hold tight to the battery terminals. It folds up nicely and is easy to carry with the top handle.
  • Compared to standard jumper cables the jump-n-carry is easier to use, safer, and more efficent.
  • Seems to work well and the ability to plug it in and leave it until you need it is very nice. USB ports are very useful, as well.
  • USB ports and 12 volt socket are an added bonus as well.I also like the long legnth of the jumper cables and the led voltage indicator is another cool feature as well as the on/off switch.
  • Great jumper with long cables. You don't have to worry about setting it on top of the motor. The clams are a lost stronger than the JNC660 but I like the angled feature.

What customers say about "Features"
Clore Automotive (Jump-N-Carry JNC660) Jump Starter (12V 1700A Peak)
  • Some may consider this a con since it doesn't have a lot of extra features as a result of being really simple to use.
  • It's durable. The plastic is thick and can take a beating. I accidentally dropped the unit from hood height and it did not crack.
  • All parts are self-contained. Even the white clamp caps are attached so you don't misplace anything.
  • The cables and clamps are very heavy duty and I like the voltmeter. There are two lights for charging and full charged.
  • Wish it had overcharge protection but can't complaint too much... just check voltage often when charging.
  • No on/off switch. Cables are always "hot."
Clore Automotive JNC770R 1700 Peak Amp Premium 12-Volt Jump Starter
  • The base is rubber, so it won't slide around. It comes complete with a cigarette lighter cable and a charging cable, however any extension cord can charge it.
  • The on off switch is nice as well. The digital display you would think is nice, but it is hard to see in the sun.
  • Works awesome. I crushed my precious jump pack and for this one. It great that it has a led light so you don’t need a flashlight to see the battery. It also has curved end clamps to get into those hard to reach battery spots.
  • Works really good. Jump started couple of cars and never had problems with it. Easy to use, absolutely love it. Purchased it for my dad's birthday and he really loves it too.
  • I think the LED light will run for many many days without problem. One heck of a camp table light.
